Maisie I hope you feel better!

I am proud of myself... the dresses that I pulled for the girl playing Rizzo didn't fit right and looked awful, So I was like maybe I have something at my house (since she around my size) So, I found this Vintage black & white halter I never wear and a vitage dress that had a massive stain on he front of the bodice... I detached the skirt (which is pink) from the bodice and stiched it onto the top and it looks amazing! I'm going to add a belt or a ribbon around the waist and some other little details... I'll post pictures when it's done!

Thanks guys...I didn't feel major sparks with him right away, but think it would be fun to hang out again. So we'll see.

BB- It sounds like you had so much fun! I love going to concerts.

Withoutu- That sounds amazing! I was a costumer in high school so I definitely understand how sometimes you just have to "make it work" (to quote Tim Gunn haha).

Alright ladies, have a fantastical weekend! I'm going to visit my friend that I'm planning the wedding for. I'm determined that we're going to find the location and the dress tomorrow! We've made a decision on centerpieces(mostly) so that's something!!!

Well compared to some people my age I guess my Friday night might sound a bit lame and subdued but I loved it!!

I went to a friends house early around 5:30 and listened to some fantastic music (Diana Krall, Sinatra, Nat King Cole...basically really amazing standards) We drank some wine and watched Dreamgirls and half of Singin' in the Rain before we both fell asleep on the couch. I didn't wake up until 10 this morning and I got home a little while ago.

It is SO beautiful outside today!! I think it's gonna be around 80 degrees in NC today so I think I might go for a jog in park near ECU (East Carolina University) this afternoon.

You girls have fun today. And Maisie feel better sweety!!

I woke up to some sad news today. My sister-in-law's dad died overnight. He's had heart problems for years and apparently had a heart attack overnight. He just retired and he and his wife were planning on her retirement later this year...a shame all around. My niece and nephew just lost their first grandparent.

He was one of those guys that made you laugh everytime you saw him...and he loved theater. Here's to you, Ed.

And it's raining and gloomy here in Chicago...how appropriate.

And I was supposed to get together with friends tonight for my birthday dinner but I don't know if I should do it now...
