Maisie, I just watched the vid. Looks great so far! I'd love to see more. And you're totally skinny, you don't need to diet, silly girl! Did you end up finding anything/what do they look like?

Sounds cute, Schmerg. That color's great. I'm pretty average, not skinny, not overweight, but I love bikinis. I actually find them a lot more flattering than one-pieces, at least for me. I'm pretty loyal to Victoria's Secret, though. They have some really cute leopard-print suits out now (I'm a sucker for trashy animal prints) that I'm saving up for.

Oh my god, I know. I usually wait for sales and buy them in the fall. It's completely ridiculous that I can buy an actual top for less than a bathing suit top, when the former is three times as much fabric. I bet you'll come across a good deal soon enough.

I'm so tired today. I kept waking up last night. I think 8 hours of interupted sleep is worse that 4 hours of uninterupted sleep...I read that somewhere. But it seems true to my experience.

The problem with swimsuits for me is that if I'm going down the two-piece road, I need to be willing to pay money. It's not "less than a top" to me, it's "opaque bra"; if I get anything less supportive, then disaster will strike many times over. So swimsuits = expensive, and I don't even get to complain about it. :P

So, after a 15 year hiatus, I'm back in school. Ha. Not really, just taking a fiction writing class. I started last night and it seems like it's going to be good. I was a fiction writing major in college, and naturally work in accounting now..ha.

It's funny, I haven't sat in a classroom for years but it felt so natural. Maybe I'll use some of the board's drama to write a really good piece.

Newgirl, that is so exciting! I always wanted to take a class like that. I love writing, but I could never END anything for some reason. That always seems like the hardest part...Good luck with it!!

newgirl, good for you! Fiction is something I've always wanted to do, but I'm not creative enough for it (trust me, I've tried). Writing is my strong suit, but I trend more towards journalism and reviews, probably because I know how to BS. I can write a term paper like it's my job.

Maisie, that sounds...odd. Rest assured that EVERYONE will look a little off, though! This is such an exciting time for you...enjoy it before you're off to the grind of college! I can't WAIT to be done here.

clever, I think you're right. I got about 4 hours and I'm really, really alert. Freaking me out. I hope you get a chance to nap, or at least get a second wind!

I am in the middle of hell week for Grease.

Last night was so stressful... and tonight we add costumes! *headdesk*

And I almost told my mother not to come to the show because she told me to "stop trying to give direction because it's not your show." I'm the assistant director, and I have done more work then the directors.

I am prying to the theater gods that this rehearsal is less stressful.

Sorry Kels. I was in that position a few years ago when I was AD for Newsies. I ended up costuming and choreographing, and eventually blocking too. I totally feel your pain. Truth is, someone has to give direction and it's good that you're taking initiative.

Think of it this way (about tonight)...once you put kids in costumes, they usually get way more into character and way more into the show in general. Maybe this will elevate the rehearsal to a whole new level.

I was going to say the same thing jag......

There is a great bathing suit store here, but all of the suits are at LEAST $80. Since I need at least 4 or 5 suits (we have a pool, so I'm in one every day in the summer), paying that is out of the question.

I got a couple mix and match tankini's at Kohls last year, and 2 at Target.

newgirl, your night sounds pretty good to me! Yoga, big salad, jammies! Add a beer in there and replace 24 with Amazing Race and I may have a similar night.

...oh and take out the Yoga, and replace big salad with Taco Bell.
