Agh, Maisie! That is really scary! My mom would start freaking out that my computer was going to electricute me or something.
By the way, that picture of your youth group is adorable. All of those people look so friendly and fun.
Luscious, CONGRATULATIONS! That is fabulous news. Let's hope things only get better from here!

Congrats Luscious! That's fabulously awesome. :3
Oh I'm in a snit today. But I guess it's my own fault. If only I'd known that "please get out of bed and drive me to work" really meant "please lie in bed all morning and make me late to work", I'd've rephrased my initial request. *sigh* Nonetheless, I am here now, although deeply annoyed with my brother-in-law.
On the bright side, my idiot boss and I aren't going to be in on the same day as each other now until Thursday. Brilliant! And I've found some totally different jobs to apply for that I am totally capable of getting, so here's hoping!
I have a nasty cold. My throat feels like there's shards of glass in it, and I coughed up half my sinuses this morning. Even *I* was revolted, and I don't revolt easily. :/

Wow I've missed a ton since the last time I was on here LOL
Luscious- That's such great news! I'm so happy and relieved for you! And I hope you and Stock have a great time in VA, I'm jealous.
Kels and Newgirl- guys just suck. Straight, gay, whatever. They suck. Period.
Maisie- If there was ever a tornado warning in this area I'd probably cry LOL I don't even know what you're supposed to do during a tornado! That's so scary!
Weez- Feel better soon!
That's all I could remember off the top of my head haha I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday!

Yep, I am still being ignored by my boy. I know things will work themselves out but right now.... I kinda want to kick him!
Well ladies, I am quitting Wegmans I just can't deal with it anymore! Luckily there is a new Urban Outfitters store opening in town, so I might try to get a job there or there's this cute little store downtown that is hiring as well. I'll find something!

Posted: 4/11/09 at 12:33pmGood luck with finding a job! I need to find one too and I don't particular want to work in retail but if I have to, I guess I will

Posted: 4/11/09 at 12:40pmYeah, I don't mind working retail, but I will never work in another grocery store as a cashier ever again!

See, my parents WANT me to be a cashier at a grocery store... lol I do not

Posted: 4/11/09 at 1:00pmDon't do it, man... it's a horrible job. I've been doing it for almost a year and as a result my back and wrist injuries have been irritated.... not fun.

Oh trust me, I won't lol
I used to do retail at a music store but a) I got tired of working nights and weekends and b) I got REALLY crappy pay :/

I feel much better now! Apparently, all I really needed to do was cough up the contents of my lungs, and now all I have is a bit of a cough. It was PRETTY revolting this morning though. D:
I gotta tell you ladies, biological and honorary, I dig retail. I've tried office work, but I just need to be kept busy and talking otherwise I go batty. Which is why my current job's such a mixed bag; when my idiot boss isn't there and when there's customers, it's brilliant, I love it. I wouldn't go for a supermarket again, but shop-shops? Brilliant! As long as the products are relevant to my interests, of course. I'd probably get bored trying to sell mobile phones...

yeah, I'm kinda a clothes-horse so clothing retail works for me!
I just found out from my little brother's facebook status that my mom's car got robbed last night! I guess his DS is gone and the car is a mess..... but it's ridiculous because my mom lives in the middle of nowhere! It was probably some crazy Hillbilly.... they live way too close to the redneck part of town.
Lock your cars ladies!

I used to work in music retail... bad idea, I pretty much recycled my paycheck.. oops! lol
YES! Do not forget to lock your car! I remember my car was in my drive way and someone got in (because it was unlocked) and stole my ipod mini! (This was like 4 years ago at least) and so basically I ended up getting a zune instead but NEVER forget to lock your car, even in your own driveway!

oh boy Maisie... that sounds like a blast! :P
I bought Doubt today, so after I get back from church and watch Hottie McHotpants (Aka Zac Efron) on SNL then I shall watch that! It shall be one great night

Posted: 4/11/09 at 6:15pmMaisie, my friend and I almost saw that last night because we thought it would be funny...but then we decided that it wouldn't be LOL Instead we got drunk off cheap wine and watched Twilight, which was surprisingly really really good! I'm not sure if the wine had anything to do with that though...

Oh my gosh, if you've seen Twilight, you have to watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MKz0gkcgAo Very cute. I hate Twilight, but I love this-- the casting is great.
I just got back from Kohl's, because my grandma gave me a ridiculous amount of money to spend for an early birthday present, because she'll be out of town on my birthday. I got six dresses, two pairs of pants, and a jacket!

Hahaa, Pianolin, you crack me up... I'm not such a big Efron fan, but my brother just bought a white v-neck shirt and tightish blue jeans, and I keep calling him Zac Efron now. He's getting really mad at me. Next I'll call him Mr. McHotpants and see how he reacts...

Oh, WOW! Those shoes are so cute! I almost bought a pair of gladiator sandals, but they kept falling off my tiny little mutant feet.
So I decided against it.

Oh oh oh Maisie! I LOVE the third pair a lot! (If only I were a girl... lol)
and so about Mr. McHotpants... so I bought a cardboard cut out of him because it was uber on sale and anyways I put it up in my room... well I forgot about it and when I came back to my room and turned on the lights, I got scared that there was an intruder lol so I have yet to put him back up, but I cannot wait for SNL.. oh man!
