And I know you'll find just the right shoes to wear with it!!!!! lol
OMG MAISIE THAT'S GORGEOUS! It's very you But out of curiosity, what happened to your other dress?
MAISIE! That is really, really stunning. I love the colors on the skirt. And Danmag, your picture in your new avatar is so gorgeous! Has anyone ever told you that you kind of look like Laura Linney?
I have a really weird story to tell, but I have to go prove to my mom that I did all of my homework, so I'll be back with that in a minute...
BB! I THOUGHT DanMag had a new Av! I didn't want to say anything in case it was the same lol
I loved that other dress, but i LOOOOOOVE this one. It's so perfect. And I have complete confidence that you will find matching shoes.
By the way, I start dogsitting tomorrow after work! I'm so glad I'll have a little snuggle-buddy Hopefully she won't find any dead birds though...
All righty... so tell me what you guys think about this... interesting situation.
One of my friends (not a really, really close friend, but a friend of one of my best friends and one of the... fringe members of my circle of friends) is an eighteen-year-old girl who dated an older boy very seriously for almost two years. He went to a community college so that he could transfer to whatever "real" college the girl went to when she graduated-- they kind of were planning on getting married in the future, but then something happened and they broke up.
The girl didn't date anyone for about five months, but she's a very friendly (NOT at all skanky, but just very kind and friendly) person who loves to hug people. There was this one freshman kid who was always hugging her and who she would hug back, but I always assumed she was just hugging him back to be polite.
Well, she and the freshman told me today that they're going out. This weirds me out because she's a very mature eighteen-year-old girl, and he's a very small fourteen-year-old boy who has not yet gone through puberty and is really, really immature and annoying. When they told me, the girl didn't look very happy.
I'm wondering whether she's just desperate for a boyfriend, or if she just said she'd go out with her when he asked because she didn't want to be rude, or if she's dating him because he's the LEAST like her previous boyfriend (who I liked very much) than anyone else she could think of. I can't exactly ask her, because I have to play the supportive friend who thinks it's great that she has a new boyfriend.
Maisie, I saw Chitty when it came through Philly! Who's your friend?
And Schmergy, that whole situation is really skeevy. I'd wait a little and see how it plays out. Ick, I'm super weirded out LOL
I hope Chitty Chitty Bang Bang comes near where I live-- that movie was... about forty percent of my childhood. I think the other sixty percent were Candyland, "CATS" the musical, unicorns and Land Before Time.
Schmerg. I have a newfound love for you now that I know you like Cats and Land Before Time. Little Foot, Duckie, Sarah (the bitchy one), and Spike were staples of my childhood.
Duuuuude, Land Before Time was awesome! Fraggle Rock was a big part of my childhood.... mostly because my mom is a huge fan of the muppets!

Kels OMG don't even get me started on Fraggle Rock!!! That show was the sh*t. My avi used to be of Red Fraggle cuz she was feisty as all get out. Looking back I think she may have been the resident lesbian Fraggle. She gave off some serious girl-lovin' vibes.
LBT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I need to buy that when I get money, GRR! I loved it!
ALSO, I know she isn't popular, but have any of you heard Ashley Tisdales single "It's Alright, It's OK"? SO good! I mean, its not art, but oh man, its so relevant to me at least and I love this song! Go listen ladies!
I loved the red fraggle! I need to watch the show again... I haven't seen it since my brother was little. On a related note, I have been on a Muppet Show kick as of late! I discovered that they have full episodes on youtube.... I watched the Ethel Merman episode and the Joel Gray episode the other night!

It totally fits with how I feel about my ex (the one in Buffalo). He really pissed me off a few days ago and this song sooo fits how I am feeling!

Kels! I'm glad someone else likes it besides me! I ask my friends if they have heard it and the reaction is always "ewwwwwwwwwwwwww" LOL but seriously, that song is SO relevant for me! LOVE IT!
Ok, good night, and good morning everyone!
I always wanted to be Sarah, too! (I always thought her name was Cera... like Triceratops?) I had these Land Before Time puppets and stuff made of rubber that I used to play with, and I left the Sarah/Cera one at the playground, and when I came back ten minutes later, SOMEONE HAD STOLEN MY CERA PUPPET! What kind of lowdown dirty scoundrel would do a thing like that?
I just loved dinosaurs in general back then. I think I knew them all... :)
