OK, I'm not familiar with Land Before Time at all. That's how old I am.
Maisie, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your condo is ok!

Oh no Maisie I hope your condo's okay!

Posted: 4/23/09 at 1:43pmSo I just got an email from our stage manager for Oklahoma saying that we have a new Laurey. I know this new girl and we look NOTHING alike, which is a problem since I'm Dream Laurey. She's very tall with dark hair, and I'm very short with light hair. And there's a girl in the ensemble that is tall with dark hair. I'm willing to bet money that I'm not Dream Laurey anymore.

LOL thanks guys, I'm just kind of annoyed. But I don't even know if I'll be replaced yet. And Tofu, I may take you up on that offer

Quick fix suggestion! A box of temporary dark hair dye, some shoes with heels, and a "friendly chat" with this other girl in the ensemble. You only need to keep up the facade until it's too late for the other girl to learn the choreography, amirite?

Maisue-- holy smokes, I will definitely keep you and the rest of the area in my prayers. That is terrifying!
Blondebaby, I am gritting my teeth and making disconcerting screeching noises. That just infuriates me.
Annie Get Your Gun opens tomorrow. It's terrible. Really, really bad. But they say a bad dress rehearsal means a good show-- and our cast is brilliantly talented, it's just that the scenes are messy and people keep forgetting their cues, lines, tunes, and lyrics.

By the way, it's 12:45 and I cannot sleep AT ALL. And I have inventory at 7am...thank goodness for coffee

Posted: 4/24/09 at 7:56amUgh. Me too. And we have Family Fun Night at the kid's school tonight, which is a big carnival type thing with 500 kids running around and screaming. Needless to say, the parents all bring a good deal of alcohol with them.

Yeah, I am tired too, and I went to bed "early" which for me was 12:15 but I woke up at like 3:30 because my phone got like a zillion texts lol grrrrrr

Morning everyone! I second being tired. But my boss brought in bagels and donuts from Dunkin Donuts so I'm slowly gaining energy.
Any big plans for this weekend?

This is my first full weekend off for a month, so I'm pretty excited about it. My plans include:
- clean out Pepsi's litter trays thoroughly
- go to the cinema to see In the Loop (genuinely my number one MUST-SEE film of the entire millennium so far)
- lie under my bed in the dark and listen to Floyd Collins
- have a lie-in or two
- locate as many waterproof trays as I can, transplant as many tomato seedlings into plastic cups as I can
- read Othello
- watch more Band of Brothers; if I haven't clicked with it by episode 7, I'm quitting. I can't tell most of the characters apart, and I scarcely care about any of them, and I'm four episodes in :/
- I also have Henry VI part 3 and Nightmare on Elm Street to get through, although there's not too much of a rush
- visit the West Wycombe Caves with a friend as part of my ongoing attempt to experience a ghost for myself so I can decide once and for all whether I believe in them or not
- hell, if I'm out tonight, I may as well go looking for the Green Man of Cryer's Hill an' all
- big family Sunday meal
And I suppose I ought to tidy my room and shower a few times as well. So no, no big plans, just a lot of little ones. :)

Morning y'all. *yawn*
I have to hang out with my needy annoying friend for part of tomorrow because I kinda blew her off last week. Maybe we can just go see a movie because I am kinda at my breaking point with her (she left a bunch of her stuff in my house and I tripped over it multiple times last night). I might try and convince my mom to take me and my brother up to H&M in Syracuse, but no real fun plans for this weekend.

Yeah I know I need to talk to her... she's driving me nuts! Did I tell you guys that she pretty much stalked me at the mall? Yeah that was fun.
She txted me once to remind me that it's her and her bf's 6 month anniversary (big woop) and then she txted me again to ask what time I was coming over tomorrow. She also asked me if I was going to be home at 11:30.... I said "well I have class at noon, so no." Grrr arggg.

OH! and today is the 24th! This means, I have exactly ONE MONTH until I see Patti LuPone in concert!

Weez, I like the sound of that weekend itinerary. I have a college friend coming in for the weekend from Annapolis. I imagine I will be quite hung over come Monday.
Kels, I think that girl has GOT to go.
