Maisie, you are so, so cute. I watched both of those! I loved your dress and I love your bangs. So glad you had a good time, you looked gorgeous.
withoutlove...ooh! Differing political views can be good for relationships, actually, if both parties are civilized about it. Keeps you on your toes. And there's always the option for angry sex on election nights and such. So I've heard. Either way, glad to hear you're getting some attention on the boy front! That's always exciting!
So, I was going to study yesterday for finals (which start tomorrow...whoops), when my friend dragged me out to a bar with her work friends. This was all fine and good, and I only had two drinks so I was planning on being good. We went to someone's house afterward, though, where they were passing around a HUGE blunt. I took a few drags because these people were pretty insufferable, and ended up getting pretty stoned. We're driving home at 5 A.M., when we get pulled over because my roommate is going fifty in a forty-five. Now, I smelled like Woodstock...but he miraculously let us go after giving us the suspicious side-eye a few times. Thank god for nice cops, or else I'd be in prison waiting for bail now. And I don't look good in orange. Kids: when doing illegal things (theoretically), make sure there's no way you'll have to face a police officer later in the night.

Maisie, you are so adorable with that little Southern accent. And the dress looks great!
Jag, you totally dodged a bullet. That would scare me straight!
Stockard, no,unfortunately I didn't meet up with danmag. But I can't wait to hear about her night. yeah, she must be sleepin' it off lol!
And I am TOTALLY in for a summer gathering. Just tell me where and when...and what we're drinking!
Long time no see, eh? I haven't been on here for a while. Rehearsals eat up my time. We open in a week in a half! Ah! And I'm covered in paint because I just got back from work call.
Maisie! So exciting!
I'd also love to meet up in NYC, if I can find a place to stay. God, that'd be so fun.
MAisie, just let me know when your going to the city and I'll for sure be there! I'm just a (6 hour) bus ride away!

Maisie, I'm pretty much gonna reiterate what everyone else said...sooo cute, your bangs are sick and your accent is adorable. Although I'm sure you're not used to hearing that you have an accent. P.S: I love your friend's glasses they're so cute.
Jag, I don't know if I should be scolding you or bowing at your feet!!!! I don't really think I have much room to talk given the fact that I just went to court last week for going 96 in a 70, but I was only hopped up on a massive can of Red Bull sooo...
Good luck on your finals next week, you'll do fabulous
And the whole NYC shindig...I can't make any promises but I'll do what I can. I'll probably be working like a MOFO this summer, plus I'm going back to school for something other than DJing. I'm finally bending to the will of my family and getting a job in the medical field. HOO-freakin-RAY!!!! Just what I need...blood, needles and a paralyzing fear of both.
I am however planning to meet up with my best friend in the entire world (who I haven't seen in over 3 years) in D.C. and we're gonna go to an old high school friend's wedding and CRASH IT!! Since neither of us are invited and we haven't seen her in almost 5 years, he and I are gonna tell her we're both gay (which is true ), grab a handful of cake, maybe steal a gift from the table, touch attractive attendees inappropriately and HAUL ASS like Holy Hell!!!!!!! So with all that...I might be able to schlep my cookies 9 hours to NYC, but we'll have to see.
Woah, I haven't been on in FOREVER!!!
I just got back home from another visit to the wonderful University of OKlahoma. ( Where I will be happily attending next year)
Maisie! You hair is so cute! And I'm digging the bow too.
Argh. So. Much. Homework. And it's already 10pm. Joy.
Maisie, I'm glad to see you had fun at prom! And you look beautiful in your videos!
Jag, same scenario happened to me about 2 years ago. The entire car reeked, yet the cop ended up letting us go. That was the dumbest cop I've ever met.
And I'd love to take an NYC trip to meet everyone! The week of June 5th is when Oklahoma opens, but we can figure that all out later. Speaking of Oklahoma, the ballet is 18 minutes long. I'm going to die LOL But we're only four rehearsals in and have all the choreography done so I'm extremely happy.
Love the hair Maisie! I'm in for a New York trip anytime. It only took me an hour and a half to get there this time!
Had lots of fun, drank WAY too much, forgot to eat anything, watched the Grey Gardens documentary (LOVED IT) and spent yesterday recovering...
I think it's going to rain all week. Yuck.
I don't think I'll be able to get to the city then.....my husband's company is "phasing out his position" so we're kinda cutting back until he figures out what he's going to do. But I hope you guys are all able to get together!
jag, I still can't get past the fact that the cop would pull your friend over for going 50 in a 45? WTF is up with that?
Maisie your bangs are adorable.
danmag, I started the GG HBO movie yesterday, but my friend called and wanted me to come see her new house so I haven't finished it yet.
Pencil me in for a 2010 NYC meet-up, but unless I mysteriously attain a ton of money from somewhere, I don't think I'd be able to save enough to meet this summer.
No, really, 2010. Let's all get saving. :P
Same here, Weez. I wouldn't be able to make it out there next month, but I might be there for a few days with my friend in late July to go see Hair. But I'm up for a 2010 meet as well. =]
JAG, that's hilarious! You got extremely lucky.
25th, congrats on Oklahoma! That's an amazing school, I bet you'll have a blast!
Maisie, the bangs are super cute! I'm thinking about getting bangs this summer but I'm kind of scared to get them.
Okay y'all, things seem to be looking up on the guy front! I missed my 9:43 bus and was stuck at home until noon when I had a class at 11... well I posted it on Facebook and the guy from my choir offered to give me a ride even though I know it's really far out of the way! I will give you the details tonight when I get home from school!

I'm with Weez, I'll probably have to take a raincheck for '09...but 2010 I'm totally down for whatever. It'll give me enough time to save some money so I can drink myself under the table
Have a lovely day ladies!!!
It'll give me enough time to save some money so I can drink myself under the table
Ooh count me in for that plan too Tofu!
Hi All!
I haven't been on here in forever.
Tofu- DC?? You're coming to DC? When and are we gonna meet??? :)
Maisie- You know I loved your dress!!! I will try to come up to see you all, but I might either be in rehearsal or have a show that night. We'll figure it out.
Soooo...I did my first musical audition in 8 years last night. You all and a bunch of other people encouraged me to try out for one of the Gimmick girls in Gypsy...so I did. I put down I wanted a Gimmick Girl, Rose (hahaha...especially since everybody tells me I look 1, or anything at all. :) I was goign to sing "Someone Like You" but when I decided to be serious about being a stripper, I decided to change it to "When You're Good to Mama" which I love and have always wanted to sing for people. I think it went pretty well. Several people told me after I sang that I was born to play Mama Morton which made me very happy! Dancing wise I didn't ever get the full routine in front of the judges but I did pretty well. The choreographer said she could tell I have dance experience and everyone was shocked when she asked if anybody could do splits and I went all the way down. I said ummm I haven't tried in a while, but maybe. Yeah...still flexible! YAY!!!
So we'll see!
In other news, my mom had a scary moment this weekend. I called her to ask her a question about one of my costumes and she had no recollection of me doing a play at all, of talking to me earlier that day, of grading papers earlier, what her plans for that night were...nothing at all. It was very scary. Luckily my dad was supposed to go out to dinner with her and he got to her house after I talked to her. He realized something was seriously wrong with her too and took her to the ER. It all happened in the space of an hour and a half, because he had been at her place mowing the lawn and she was fine when he left at 5pm and when he came back at 6:30...she was out of it. I really thought she had a stroke. But they called it something like Sporadic Dimentia or Sporadic Acute Amnesia (this happened to my friend's dad a few months ago. Apparently for no reason you just lose your memory for a few hours.) Very scary, but she's fine now. All her tests came back clean. It's just a random loss of memory. She still doesn't recall any of it.
Congrats on your audition L, it sounds like it was a lot of fun! And I'm sorry about your mom. Glad to hear she's doing well again.

Tofu- DC?? You're coming to DC? When and are we gonna meet???
Yeah, but it's only a "meet-up" spot so I can find my friend and meet his boyfriend for a hot minute. After that little stop we're heading back up to my home town in MD where we graduated. If I'm ever up there for more than 2 seconds I'd LOVE to meet you L.
Oh and Luscious I'm glad your mom's ok.
Luscious, Im so glad your mom is ok. I have never heard of that before. It sounds scary. What can cause something like that?
luscious, I'm so glad to hear your audition went well, though sorry about your mom. Thank god she's OK now!
Stockard, my dad's company has been "phasing out his position" as well. What a load of crap. Hope it all works out. And yeah, 50 in a 45! I speed WAY more than that all the time! I'm assuming because it was like 5 A.M., it was a little more suspicious. Or he was just bored.
Kels, ooh! Can't wait to hear the details!
Shannon, you should get bangs. You totally should. I was scared to do it for two years, but I love them now.
I feel like I got hit by a truck, backed over and left out to die in sweltering hot sun. I AM SO SICK. This is awfully inconvenient, as I have to take a final tonight, two tomorrow, one on Wednesday, and find some time to pack and do a project in that time. I have a feeling this won't end well.
Oh, and count me in for 2010 as well!
jag, feel better!
Luscious, I'm glad your mom is feeling better. That must have been so scary.
Kels, can't wait to hear about the boy!
Aww feel better Jag!
Stock, to answer your question about Grey's that you posted on the other thread, I highly doubt the wedding's actually going to happen.
Shannon, BANGS BANGS BANGS BANGS! PEER PRESSURE! GET THEM! LOL
