Luckily, this is my first non-native teacher, and I've been taking German since first grade! (I went to a German immersion elementary school.) But yeah, my teacher DOES have a pretty terrible accent. She just says German words in an American accent. It's a good thing that German pronunciation is pretty phonetic-- once you know how to pronounce some German words, it's easy to pronounce them all. But grammar is SOOOOOO HARD for me to get right-- I'm still not fluent, even after all these years!

Ok, completely off topic, but has anyone looked at Papa's new "Man Thread"? I'm already laughing cuz leave it to Papa to talk about being manly but then end it with an: "OMG, this is gonna be sooooo fun!!!" I just imagine a Jonas Brothers fanatic saying that while lightly clapping their hands!!
I was just about to mention that! I laughed out loud!

Oh he's just so funny.
He can be sort of funny sometimes, but sometimes he acts kinda weird.......

That's guys for you.
Yikes, Maisie! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and your... psychic precognitions...

Stockard, kinda!?
When I first spotted that thread I thought it was that VW commercial with the dog singing!!

Miss Pennywise, you are so nice! That is such a nice thing to do for Maisie!
ok, gotta go check out The Man thread...
Eeek I hate that feeling, Maisie. I hope it's nothing.
I think the Man Thread is funny.
Okay, i'm off to the grocery store (yeah I didn't actually get there yesterday) and then to my final improv class. That's where my sense of forboding is coming from. I don't think I'm nearly as bad as I think I am...but I torture myself over my performances in that class. And now we have a show next week. I've never been this nervous for a show...ever. Gah...

That's what weirdos do!
I'm hosting an improv tournament on Thursday at my school with my wonderful, talented, fantastic thespian president(I always call him that so that he'll cast me in more things and get me elected as thespian officer last year)... and I need a referee shirt by Thursday. I have no idea where to get one; I've never set foot in a sporting goods store.
I think he may be jealous of our awesome thread...
Im drinking Pindar wine from Long Island. I wish I knew something about wine. All I know is that it's pretty damn good!

I recommend that you all read When God Was a Woman by Merlin Stone.
Oh, Miss P-- You won this for donating to Maisie's theatre department:
*plink* Wait a minute, were you talking about cute guys for a minute there? And obviously when I say "cute guys", I mean Lin-Manuel Miranda? Because he is TOTALLY freakin' cute! I like him better with the facial hair, but he's utterly adorably without it as well. :3
(Girly enough for ya? ^_^)
I'm currently listening to a radio drama; the actor Geoffrey Streatfeild (who has broken my heart by being married to another woman D:) is playing a character called Geoffrey. Do you suppose actors quite enjoy playing a character with the same name as themselves, or do you imagine it might be a bit of a distraction?
One play I was in had characters called Lynne and Sally. And two of the actresses were called Sallie and Lynn. Sallie was playing Lynne, and Lynn was playing Sally. There was a whole MESS of "Sally-Lynn" happening that play, and we never could figure out who the director was talking to. XD
Anyway! I should go to bed, I have an early start in the morning. I'll be back in 24-ish hours; be good! :P
Thanks, Schmergie, that's really sweet of you. But I really didn't do it for any recognition. The only reason I even made it "public" by mentioning it on the thread is to motivate OTHERS to do it!

I'm telling you, weez. Up close. SO.. CUTE!! Then I look down at my camera and I'm like, WTF??
It was like night and day..night and day.

I'm THAT kind of girly too, Weezie
Oh, don't get me wrong, I think he's really cute with the beardy thing, too. I just had never seen him without it before.
I don't know, maybe it's because when I look at him, I focus on the beard instead of his gorgeous eyes!
Weez, that Sally-Lynn thing is making my brain hurt!
Rejoice!
