"I loathe Walmart."
Dear God BlueRoses, I know what you mean. If the Devil liked moderately priced crap, he'd head straight through the sliding doors of "The Walmart." Yes "The Walmart" (in quotes). That store has become an entity in and of itself, sucking the soul from smaller Mom N' Pop shops. It's like everyone, no matter how snooty, trailer park-y, or ghetto fabulous they are, winds up in the God-forsaken parking lot of that deliciously evil emporium. That place is like a hoarder/pack rat's dream where you can have your fill of rubbish along with a hot dog, and a pair of glasses from the Eye Care Center.
Target, on the other hand is almost perfect. Because everyone frequents "The Walmart" it leaves Target with fewer shoppers, which I love because I can peruse without feeling self conscious while 500 pairs of eyes scan my basket and silently judge me for having an albeit "slight" obsession with hair care products. Plus Target, at least to me, seems to be cleaner than Walmart. Like I won't get tetanus when I walk by a shelf with a jagged edge.
I do like clothes. It's just not easy to buy them when you've got certain things going on in the figure department, i.e. big boobies.
Oh, I hear you. I end up wearing lots and lots of wide belts, or else all of my shirts would be all baggy and ick. And I love the empire waist look, but there's never enough... room in the top of those things.

Nope, there never is! Certain things come with the territory of having large girls, so I have no idea what it's like to wear sleeveless, strapless, halter, etc. tops and never have. Even t-shirts look stupid and well, tourist-like.
It's all about 3/4 to long sleeves, v-necks, scoop necks, and layering, lots of black. That's usually OK and all, but I'm so accustomed to passing by all the racks of cute little dresses and tops that I never know what's currently fashionable until I see trends on other people (the sizes 0-6, little boobs set). I'd love to wear stuff like this
but, alas.
And yet, those of us with little boobies would love to have big 'uns.
Big 'uns. Hee.
Yes, the grass is always greener. Actually, there's a nice, comfortable size to be--not too big or small. B cup would be perfect. C cup if you want a little fullness. That'd be awesome. Having big 'uns brings stuff along with it--weight issues, upper arm and back fat, back pain, stretch marks, going boingy-boing during exercising.
Eh, we all got our issues.
I like Sephora, too. It's like a Whole Foods for makeup.
Oh, agh! That sounds really uncomfortable. Luckily, mine aren't that big-- just C, but I'm short. I wouldn't change anything if I could, but it is hard to find good tops. I wear a lot of dresses and try to accentuate my waist as much as possible so I don't look too... chunky.
Dresses are a good option for most women, and there seems to have been an onslaught of them in the stores lately. I'm just relieved the bare-midriff/low rider jeans era is over! I like my body and appreciate my health, but I think down the line I might get the girls a bit reduced. I'm not Soleil Moon Frye, but the discomfort has always been a bit of a problem.

As a possessor of a pair of Irish wolfhounds in the "puppies" department (oh just go with it :P), I am often jealous of people with nice, neat Cocker spaniels. It is pure "grass is always greener" syndrome though. I've learned to live with my girls, although I still haven't learned the noble art of dressing them. The first problem is buying bras to fit; small back + large cup = difficult to find (although not many people wear it, so at least there's plenty available when the sales come ). I have some wrap-over dresses, which are nice, but I do generally do a lot of layering, and I really can't wear high necks without looking incredibly saggy. V-necks ftw!
The nice thing about my body shape is I may be outsized in one area, but that means any excess flesh in other sections just makes me look in-proportion as opposed to possibly-a-bit-large. :)
I'm actually opposite of Stockard in the boobs opinion. I sorta don't mind having a small chest, because I realize I can wear more and don't have to always wear a bra and just think it's nice. I have enough to worry about (huge ass...among other things...haha). Also, I can wear low cut stuff in places that usually they wouldn't be appropriate because of what I call "The Valley". My boobs are pretty spread apart so right in the middle it's as flat as a little boy. I'd have to really squeeze, use some tape and/or add make up shadowing to look like I have a cleavage line. Haha. I did it one time with duct tape and make up for a dance. I couldn't stop staring at my chest the whole night. Every time my friends looked over at me they'd be like STOP LOOKING AT YOUR BOOBS! But I'd never seen cleavage like that on me...it was fun! Taking the tape off however....not so much. But I'm a frequent user of the make up shadowing. I used to have line at my dorm door in college on weekends either borrowing jewelry or asking for me to give them boobs. :)
As for Target, yeah their clothes are great. Especially the plus sizes. I get so excited to buy inexpensive but decent quality and trendy things there. I got my winter coat there a couple years ago and LOVE IT. I won't get a new one until this one starts getting threadbare. I get tons of compliments on it, even from the "fashion plates" of DC. Makes me laugh when they're all decked out in Chanel, Louis or Gucci and compliment my Target coat.
Lusciouslace, you're DC?
There are so many of us on this site!
Yeah, my boobs are a B Cup so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. It could be worse. But one of Henry's friends mom's got a boob job, and her boobs look so good. I can't stop staring at them. And I'm straight.
I had a theory and decided to test it via the OH-SO-SCIENTIFIC method of a LiveJournal poll. My hypothesis was proven correct: boy, girl, straight, gay: everyone loves a good pair o' breasts. :3
Unless you're doing "Thoroughly Modern Millie!"
HAHA, Weez! I just keep thinking, if I could build my legs up (I have skinny chicken legs) and get a boob job, it would make my flabby tummy look smaller.
I was feeling blue last week over an ex-boyfriend. These are my therapy: (sorry its so gigantic..can't figure out how to resize on this phone)

Heck, those would make me happy about ANYTHING! If someone robbed me and killed my whole family and then bought me a pair of those, I wouldn't press charges.
Those are some ROCKIN' shoes, newgirl!
newgirl, those are fierce! One can never go wrong with animal print.
schmerg, yep I'm in DC. Remember we both saw the same production of Laramie? Yeah we really should have a DC get together.
new girl- gahhhh those shoes are soooo hot!
weez- you're totally right. My friend and I were at Splash a few years ago and she's got really big boobs. They pulled her up to play some sort of game and all the gay guys started chanting for her to show them her boobs. We were very confused. Haha. :)
Luscious, now I remember! My memory is ridiculous-- sometimes I get members mixed up with each other, and I think I got you mixed up with newgirl for a minute there...
Are you seeing Ragtime at the Kennedy Center this spring? I'm ridiculously excited about that.
Thanks, ladies. And they are actually comfortable! You can't tell from the angle, but they are peep-toe. So cute.
Schmerg- Thank you for reminding me! I have to send my friend a check for a ticket to Ragtime...she gets group seating. Yeah I'm excited, too. I've never seen it before! I've sung the music, but I've always wanted to see it on stage. :)
I saw Ragtime about 10 years ago (has it really been that long? I'm getting so old) either at the Warner or National Theatre. It's fabulous.
