Vickie, what the heck are you doing in this thread? I've never seen you post here before! Welcome to our girlie girl place!
I'd love to have a photographer friend! Well, I have a friend who took a picture of me through a paper towel tube to make it look like a creepy stalker shot, and another friend who took a picture of me looking comatose while some boy tried to "braid" my hair (ie. tying it in knots) but that's about it.
Maisie they look fabulous! There's one on facebook of you screaming because your friend is about to stab you or something LOL and you look adorable!
Thanks Kirsten, I'll try to stop in more often!
Maisie, my daughter would love to see those pics - she is really into photography, as well. Amateur, of course! I'll have to show them to her when she comes home on break.
Yeah, Vic, you should! We have fun here!
Oh, I meant to ask if any of you have seen "Spectacular" on Nickelodean?
HAHAHA Maisie, that's the one! Priceless.
Masie, I thought it was kinda cute. The main boy in it is adorable. Henry cried though even though it had a happy ending. He's such a sap.
Oh Maisie, I saw all those on Facebook and meant to compliment you (and your friend) on them. They're gorgeous! My favorite is also the one where you're sitting on the train tracks. I love photography.
Stockard, I watched Spectacular! I have an irrational hatred for showchoirs, so that hurt a little, but it wasn't so bad. I think the lead guy definitely carried it, though.
We didn't have show choirs when I was in school.
Yeah, he was pretty good......I thought it was a cute story.
Henry was upset when they didn't get the trophy. I tried to explain that they were the "real life" winners but he didn't get it.
Beautiful pictures Maisie.
I like the stabbing one too. lol!
I saw those on Facebook Maisie, you're precious!
I've had an amazing weekend so far, I don't feel a year older but 19 is not such a special age. Just the final "teen" year I guess. I can't wait for the Oscars tonight!
I hope everyone is having a great day. =]
Ah! Happy birthday Shannon!
Yeah, 19 is kinda a boring b-day....but for some reason turning 20 depressed the hell out of me.
Au contraire, Shannon. You can drink in Canada! Granted, you're incredibly far away from there, but it's nice to dream.
My school never had a show choir either, but I've seen them ruin various songs at amusement parks and such. I think it's a despicable concept.
I've desperately wanted to be in a show choir since I was little (my local high school's show choir does a Disney show where every member dresses as a different Disney character and I used to go to all their shows when I was in elementary school), but I've never gotten in because I've always messed up my dance audition. So I'm a bit bitter toward show choirs! But I still love them.
Schmerg, I didn't even know you guys had a show choir?
We have "Personality," which does the Disney show, and we USED to have "Pizzazz," which is the all-girl show choir, until last year. Personality's actually really, really good-- right now they're working on "Accidentally In Love" from Shrek 2, which is adorable. They do a great show at the end of every year called "All That Jazz," and two Disney shows.
I would have loved to be in a show choir! It's my brand of cheesy!
I have finished my evil paper of waaay too many sources! Seriously we had like 12 sources that we had to use and I swear that 6 of them said pretty much the same thing!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
Maisie those pics are GREAT! I like the first one the best.
HAPPY BTIRTHDAY Shannon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
