I'd go 3, 2, 1 in order of preference. White isn't really a colour that works for me, and I love the neckline of the third one just enough to make it top over the redness of the second. :3

I'm having dinner at my sister's tonight, then I'm going home to be PROPER girlie: as it's a Friday night and I'm a single, liberated lady, I'm going to curl up on the sofa, eat Haagen-Dasz, and watch my favourite HBO series on DVD. It... possibly ruins the girliness a little when you realise I'm not talking about Sex and the City, but I don't care. I'm looking forward to it.

Tomorrow, I'm having a meeting with the "board of directors" at work. Are you impressed? Nervous? Don't be. The "board of directors" is my boss's parents. No, really. I nearly laughed in his face when he requested I "attend [the] meeting". Assuming it's just a "how are you settling in? What bright ideas do you have?" meeting, I'm going to beg them to forbid their son from referring to them as the "board of directors" 'cos it sounds so stupid I could die. Of course, it may end up being a "you disrespect our son and spend all your time on the internet" meeting, but even if the very worst happens, being fired means I'll be able to claim Jobseekers' Allowance. So while I've no idea what it will actually be about, I can't find a worst-case scenario that *actually* frightens me.

What are you doing for your birthday Shannon?

Well I have a full weekend of fun stuff planned. Tonight I'm having dinner with 6 good friends of mine then we're gonna go see a movie in Fort Worth and walk the town. Tomorrow 5 other good friends of mine have stuff planned all day, I have no idea what they're doing! Then Sunday I'm having lunch with my family, then a Oscar viewing/birthday shindig at my house with some other friends.

Tofu, I loove those dresses! It's nice to find someone else who goes for the retro look.... my mom worked in a vintage clothing store when I was younger, so I've always worn that kind of stuff (like right now I'm wearing vintage boots with leggings, a 1920's camisole, and my 1960's velvet blazer)!

I should be writing my body image paper right now.... I've been writing stuff for my creative writing class instead LOL.

I have a good eye so I actually find a lot of my vintage stuff at Salvation Army. When I do buy from the vintage store it's when they're having a sale!
If I had more money more of my wardrobe would be or vintage inspired for sure!

Me too, but at Goodwill on lunch breaks LOL And I've been considering taking up spinning too! I run for my cardio and do pilates for toning, but I wanna change it up a little.

I think I'm starting spinning next week, on Stockard's recommendation. I think it sounds fun, with the music and everything.

tofu, those dresses are WONDERFUL! I love them all, but especially the first! I so can't pull off vintage style from anytime before the 60s.
