I was going to go to the gym and work out all of these anger issues.... and then my ride bailed on me.... now I am sitting here angry and wanting it to be the 22nd so I can slap someone! Sorry, but there is nothing worse then flat out telling someone you like how you have been hurt and ditched in the past.... and then having them go and hurt and ditch you. Oh man, is he going to get it....
I am also pissed because my school messed up my financial aid... I have till the 20th to fix it, but I am not pleased.
On the good side of things I think I am going to kill my Candide audition... I do a killer My White Knight from The Music Man!

Star - I might have found you on Facebook. Do you have a jaunty little character in your display name that makes it freakin' obvious it's you, or is that just a coincidence and you're actually someone else?
Kels - I can't wait until you can start making this guy's life a mischievous misery! In the pantomime we're doing at the moment, this one guy has been MASSIVELY FAILING at turning up to rehearsal, and because my character gets to bully his character a little bit in the show, I'm going to COMPLETELY play up that part. If I don't leave him a little bit afraid for his life, I'll know I'm doing it wrong. Best of luck with your campaign of "you deserve this for being a dick"! Your guy deserves it SO MUCH MORE, and I know you'll give him merry hell.
And why is talking to cute boys through Facebook so difficult? I'm great at talking about myself, but really should try and divert things a little more his way. It's only a casual convo though, and I don't think either of us are giving the other much to work with right now. XD Well, there's a couple more questions, shall take it from there.
OMG you guys I got this ukulele for Christmas and I love it a whole freakin' bunch and can't stop playing it, and my fingers HURT LIKE HELL. But I don't want to stop making the awesome music! Such is my woeful life...
So I had my job interview today! It went really well - I have to go back next week and meet with the president of the company...It's funny, the woman I interviewed with said they got tons of resumes but they only called in 4 people to interview and she said what she liked about my resume was that I was a stay at home mom! LOL - who knew hanging around my house for 13 years would be an asset in a job search.
I sure hope she doesn't come on to BroadwayWorld....
Maybe you should take your picture off for a while, danmag! LOL!
So I've been sick as a dog. Yesterday was miserable. Today I'm a little better, but really don't feel like driving the kid to karate.
She didn't strike me as the theatre-loving type!
Hope you feel better soon - send him in a cab!
Can you imagine putting a 6 year old in a cab? CPS would be after me for sure.
Chris ended up taking him.
I might change it to DNA-mag. I kinda like it...
Great news, danmag! Same thing happened to my mom when she went back to work...they loved that she had been a stay-at-home mom. I'm glad it's working to your advantage!
Stock, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. What do you think you have?
Thanks...I just have a stomach virus. Today hasn't been nearly as bad as yesterday. Yesterday I didn't get out of bed at all and I puked and the other many times.
Today I at least mopped the floor and went to the grocery store.
Henry had it Friday night and it took a few days for it to get to me, but it did. Ugh.
Yuck Stockard, hope you get well soon.
danmag, you go girl.......hope it turns out to be just the niche for you!
I met H Stock, I think he could handle that cab ride!!!!!
LOL, Hells! He probably could handle it, but I'd be a nervous wreck!
Hi ladies...
Just checking in...it's been a while.
This is my craziest month at work. I'm avoiding a huge pile of work right now, as a matter of fact.
I've been chatting via FB to my first high school crush lately. I haven't seen/talked to him in close to 20 years. We are meeting for dinner next week. I'm weirdly excited about this.
Otherwise, I'm doing OK. I'm getting over a nasty cold, which has prohibited me from starting my new workout regimen, but I'm at least being a little more conscious about eating. One day at a time...
And today is the first day above freezing since Christmas! And the sun is out! These are all wonderful things in Chicago in January...
Wowwww, okaaaay, I somehow got a callback audition for being a Featured Dancer in Fiddler on the Roof? I may just be the worst dancer ever, but that was fun.
Congrats, Schmerg! What does a Featured Dancer do in Fiddler? The most dance-heavy thing I can think of is the bottle dance...which, don't get me wrong, is the most awesome part. That show is still my favorite that I've ever been in.
Hi, newgirl! I hope you feel better soon, and I also hope that your dinner goes well next week! Make sure you stop in here and tell us about it. We miss you.
newgirl, I can't wait to hear how the dinner goes! I'm gonna go stalk your FB and try and see who this guy is! :)
Congrats Schmerg!!
I wanted to let you guys know that I finally talked to that guy... he sent me an email saying that things just happened too fast and he didn't want that to happen. He said he was really sorry for being unresponsive- he said that he just doesn't know how to say what's on his mind or how to deal with this right now. We're going to try to be friends.
His email seemed really genuine- no BS. Things did happen too fast and I would much rather hit the restart button and be friends then go on avoiding each other.

Ha ha..clever. His first name is Bob; I think the only Bob on my list. He's not the hottest, but he's a really nice, funny guy. I am desperate for a nice, funny guy since I haven't met one in a really long time.
You need to date him solely because his name is Bob!

For anyone who cares,
my friends and I made up, I didn't get to go to my orchestra audition due to icey roads (many people didn't show up, as well), and my musical theatre auditions (all 4 of them...) went really well. I'm feeling very optimistic.
Schmerg (a.k.a. Cappie recognized supoerstar!):
I, too, am an awful dancer... but I've learned that if you look like you're having fun, you can APPEAR to be a decent dancer. Good luck to you. I know how intense auditions can be, but you seem to be handling it like a worry-free pro.

Funny is hot!!
Funny is always a win!
Jazzy - I'm glad things have been going so well! I can vouch for that dancing info.
I finally got an accepted friend request I've been waiting for & have a scheduled job interview for camp counselling this summer.
Otherwise, life's the same.
Jazzy- I already had my callback, and I did well for me, meaning I didn't make any mistakes. I always look really enthusiastic and spunky when I dance, which is probably why I got called back, haha... everyone else always looks dead on their feet. But I'm not expecting to be featured dancer, because my school is full of TREMENDOUS dancers.
And I also thought Fiddler doesn't have much dancing... but choreographers at my school manage to turn EVERYTHING into a big dance number. Somehow, we won a Cappies award for Best Choreography for LES MIS, which had no dancing in the Broadway show. (Now, I never saw my school's production because I was in middle school then, but I'm sure they made it very dancyfull.)
