Those are ADORABLE, newgirl! Good deal, too. I have always wanted a pair of really high wedges, but I'd be 6'2" in those. So, maybe not. Totally cute, though.
Sorry about your guys's snow. We had a ton over the weekend, but it's all melting and muddy and disgusting right now. I'm not sure it's over quite yet, though.
I am a little terrified of the height on those shoes and I would never have bought them if they weren't wedges. I am known to be a klutz.
But I'm only 5'3" so I don't fear looking too tall in them. :P
I can't complain too much about snow here in Chicago; it's mostly gone but I've just reached my mental breaking point for winter in general. I miss grass and flowers and blue skies.
I just got tickets for the Family Show Sunday afternoon for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Henry went there on a field trip the other day and loved it. This one is music based on the stories of Dr. Seuss. I got them for $9.50 a ticket.....pretty good huh?
WHOOOO, PSYCHED! I got cast as Fruma-Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof at my school... a role I've wanted since I was SEVEN! AHAAAAA, I'm ssooooo thrilled...
Also, I LOVE wedge shoes. I wear mine all the time, they make such a pleasant clacky noise.
Great deal, Stock! That sounds like fun!
Schmerg, CONGRATS! Without even knowing you personally, I know you're going to rock the crap out of that role.
So I finally broke down and got a Twitter.
But the search isn't working so I was just wondering if any of you ladies are on Twitter?
I am! Follow away....

)!

I am too. Mom_Of_Henry. But I"m never on there so you might be a little bored following me....haha!
Haha, bored? never.
Ps. your background resembles my bedspread soo closely.
I'm (you'll never guess) Weez on Twitter. My tweets are protected, but that's just because people I don't want to be friends with keep trying to befriend me on the internet and I'm trying to make them stop, so don't be put off by that. But if you don't want to read miniature rants about theatre, video games, ukuleles, punctuated by the occasional Shakespearean monologue, then I won't be offended if you don't want to be friends.
Weez, your tweets make me laugh out loud on a regular basis more than probably anyone else's. Just so you know.
YAAAY, gay marriage is legalized in D.C.!
I don't know if you're following me...but feel free!! :)
And YAAAAAAYYYYY for DC :)
OH LORDY! I love my friends dearly, but sometimes arranging theatre trips with them is a bit like wrestling badgers. In a nice way. Especially the Germans (well, one real German, one pseudo-German).
Go DC go DC go!
And so on and so forth. ^_^ Where and how is Tofu, dagnabbit?
Lordy, lordy, lordy.... this day! I am seriously soo f*cking stressed out... I have a paper due tonight that I kinda forgot about, a shift at work that I cannot get out of, a HUGE history test that I am not ready for tomorrow morning, AND I just found out that I have a termination notice for NYSEG! Well, I was like "sh*t. but okay I got this... I'll have my mom drive me up to Tompkins Community Action (the awesome help place for people like me who are effing poor) at 11 and they will put a hold on my NYSEG account and pay part of the bill to keep my power on.... well, my mom locked her keys in the car so now I get to go up there tomorrow at 9am and then haul ass over to my 11am test! I am okay now, but for a good hour and a half I thought I was going to have a mental breakdown in Starbucks! I just need to make it through to 12pm tomorrow and then I will be okay!
The good news is that me and my guy picked a song or our duet.... we're doing Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow's Picture (it was his idea and it just happens to be one of my favorite songs)! Well, we finally got to rehearse it a bit yesterday and HOLY CRAP... it is going to sound AMAZING! He is one of the most talented guys I know. He has this amazing voice... I actually think he sounds better then Kid Rock (he KILLS that "I was off to drink you away!" line). I will make sure to have my mom tape the concert in May so you guys can see what I am talking about
