Kels, that sucks. You should get someone to give you a footrub haha
Maisie I agree. Bathing suit shopping kinda sucks. I've been working on my bikini bod for a while now and it's almost ready to make an appearance LOL

ugh, don't get me started on bathing suits. Depressing. I need to go looking for a tankini for the summer, but I can't get in the right frame of mind for that kind of torture.

Hey ladies. I hope you're all doing well on this fine Memorial Day. I got back from the Anime Convention last night...good LORD what a culture shock!!! I have never seen so many grown ass men dressed up as cartoon characters with wigs in my entire life. I saw ass (not the good kind) I saw nipples (definitely not the good kind) And I heard "love noises" in the bathroom (NOT COOL DUDE!!) I did however get an eye full of Japanese school girl outfits with skirts that should have been illegal, chicks in pasties and not much else and A LOT of girls bending over for no good reason...which was fine by me. I saw a 30 year old Asian man in a full body red latex jumpsuit in 4 inch heels...he looked fabulous!!! There was a girl dressed as Poison Ivy from Batman and I had to do a double take to digest everything. There weren't enough leaves in the world to cover that girl up...awesome!!!!
Obviously there were a lot of girls who had no earthly business wearing halters and booty shorts (i.e a woman who obviously had a child not too long ago and had stretch marks for days on her abdomen) I was hoping to find someone to *cough* "hangout with" during my stay but one look around stopped me in my tracks. So for the ENTIRE weekend the Tofu Shop was closed.
There was this Japanese band there called NOIZE, I'm assuming you could categorize them as metal/glam, and they were loud as f*ck!!! I couldn't hear myself think. I was around all these rowdy guys moshing and covered in musty funky sweat. ICK. I acted like I was listening and bopping along, but in reality I had my iPod in my ears listening to "In the Heights" the whole time. Lin-Manuel saved my LIFE!!!! Me, my friend and her other friend (who wore a goth style corset and is totally hot, but she'd be even hotter if she didn't ramble about cartoons all the time) we wound up going to a rave on Saturday, which was interesting to say the least. I'm personally a very laid back partier. Give me a couple drinks some chill music and I'm good to go. But these kids were 100% f*cking crazy and high out of their heads. I could swear I saw at least 2 couples having sex on the dance floor even though it was almost pitch black, glow sticks were flying every which way, it was hot, cramped, and I was touched in interesting places while dancing. I don't mind dancing with guys, but dammit don't touch me like you know me or I'll crush your urethra!!!
People could tell I was an outsider and I was shunned most of the time. My friend already told me that the preppier you dress, while everyone else is in costume, some people could "smell the fear" on you. Unfortunately all I own is stuff from Hollister and Aeropostale so they pegged me from the beginning. So since I had to endure all that interesting behavior and being shunned like a whore in church, I dulled the "pain" with Rum & Cokes, and an awful lot of Vodka at the Pub or better yet Pubs until closing 3 nights straight.
*Recap Finis*
Have a great evening girls!!!
Oh and BB, love the hair!!!

They owe me two days off now!
Uggggggggg....
I do really love my job, but this week has been hell because of Cornell Graduation and I really need a break. I'm exhausted! To quote Next to Normal I'm "living on a latte and a prayer"!

SO on the boat at the river, there was one other guy there, this cute one, who could be gay, bi, or straight, you can't tell. On his facebook, it says nothing. Anyways, if he was totally straight, I wouldn't like him, but I dunno, I was really attracted to him, and if he was straight, it would suck... So, I tell 3 ppl about him. Amber, Morgan, and Kristyn. Ok, Amber, doesn't know him. Morgan was at the river with us and that was also her first time hanging out with him. Kristyn knows him through her bf.
Anyways, Morgan was talking with a girl from the river who was talking to Niels... apparently, "I" was hitting on him and asked him to go see a movie with him... I NEVER EVER ANYWHERE said any of this... I have no clue what they are talking about, so my only guess is that either Morgan or Kristyn TOLD someone and then they pretended to be me? I have no clue... Kirstyn has a reason to spill this secret because we aren't on the BEST terms, and Morgan, well she just has a big mouth... they both deny anything and so basically this guy thinks I am hitting on him when I am not and its so frustrating that someone would do this!!!!!ASLKFHALFJSALKFJA!

Kels, I'd be so pissed if I were you. In situations like that,
just picture the things you'll buy with that money...sometimes it's the only way I get through work!
tofu: LMAO. That sounds like the kind of f*cked-up experience I would totally appreciate. I wish you had taken pictures, but I certainly don't blame you for not doing it!
bb, I work at Express, ye old shop of overpriced jeans and going-out tops.

Piano- What a horrible situation to be in! I hope it all works out
Maisie- I bet that swimsuit looks AMAZING on.
Okay so there's this guy that has been in the pit of a lot of the shows I've done over the years. And we've kind of talked but not ever too much. Well yesterday when I saw my old children theater's production of Sound of Music, he was in the pit so we talked for a while. So I check facebook this morning and he messaged me saying that it was great to see me again and that we should get together sometime. That's great and all cause I think he's really cute and nice, but he's 30. Weird? or not weird? That's almost 10 years between us. Hmmm

Piano, sorry, people can be turds!
Enjoyed reading the life and times of Tofu.....never a dull moment.
Bought a cute top at Target, my only problem is I need to get away from black........you would think I was Goth or in mourning. Everything I buy is black.

Dulling the pain of the BS with the new Hair CD (it's soooo good!), and trying to be happy because my best boy is HOME!!!
And it's Ithaca festival this weekend, so that should be fun.
*sigh*

bb, age ain't nothin' but a number (my parents are 13 years apart). I don't think it's weird at all unless there's a big difference in maturity, but that's usually the other way around (older woman, younger man). I'm a HUGE fan of older guys and that's usually what I stick to...I say give it a shot if you think he's cute and nice like you said!
Hells, that is really, really cute. I hear you on the black too...that's pretty much my entire wardrobe. I mean, it's slimming! What more could you want?
