my line has been so crazy mixed-up on weekends...i take the 2/3, but the 5 is running on the 2 line, the 2 is running on the 1 line...except they switch back @ 96th st. then from there SOME 2s go express & some go local, & you wont know until they announce it.
it just dumb.
i think the whole subways is running worse than ever. trains are running fewer & farther between, so everythings more crowded & you cant really depend on them to get you anywhere on time. i dont think theyve always been like this. i used to feel confident about depending on the trains. maybe that was just coz i was younger & wasnt in such a hurry to get somewhere.
still, i am glad i dont live anywhere where i'd have to drive.
Besty, I think we're the same person.
This is the HATE thread! Say NOTHING out of love!!
Unless you're uttering the phrase Sally Struthers.
Okay, then hows about this:
SALLY STRUTHERS! IS AWESOME! ...
yeah, I've got nothing, really.
And all my angsty-ness from earlier is subdued so I can't even think of some sort of snarky remark to part on. Oh well. :P

Joining in on the hatred. Of most things, actually.
Currently, I hate that my roommate doesn't grasp the concept of doing her dishes and leaves them piled in the sink for weeks. And that she also doesn't bother to check our faulty toilet and leaves it running for hours. Neither are hard tasks to perform.
And, as always, university.
Thats ok. I hate everyone everyday.

I do not hate everyone, but I hate a few things about today.

n69n, I agree. The 1/2/3 line is out-of-control. What is the point of the 2/3 running local and 1 running express on weekends?! And the 5 on the 2/3 track... it seems like a lot of unnecessary shifting. I clearly don't know anything about what the MTA is trying to accomplish by these changes, but they're annoying as hell.
I also hate fakeness. Which isn't a word. But falsehood doesn't exactly apply. Insincerity. Yes. That's it.

I don't really 'hate' much - I don't think it's worth the energy expenditure. BUT . . .
I hate liars.
I hate deceivers.
And I hate cruelty - wherever it manifests itself.
Edit: Grrrrrrrrrrrrr well now I hate computers cause I tried to upload a photo of Dwayne's "I Hate Everyone" pad from little Miss Sunshine and IT WON'T WORK
DG, I agree with you.
But you Twizzlers haters - pass them over here.
Raviolisun, you can't be Best12, I am.
I am in the DG camp on this though, there are few things that I feel compelled to work up enough energy to hate and those things are all to do with painful deception and personal harm to people, but even then my hatred is likely to be tempered with compassion, because there are often reasons for even the most gruesome behavior.
All that said it doesn't stop me from needing to have a screaming ranting fit about stupidity and foolishness once or twice a day.

I hate that I haven't talked to my favorite penguin in, like, forever!
I hate whoever wrote this crappy book that I'm reading because now that I'm in it, I half to see it through.
I hate that my management company expects me to pay rent EVERY month and not just whenever I might have the cash lying around.
But, overall, I'm much less hate-filled than I was yesterday.
I don't really 'hate' much - I don't think it's worth the energy expenditure. BUT . . .
I'm just saying that I'm not sure what it feels like to "hate". I use the term hate very loosely here, to mean intensely dislike.
Anyway, let's see, what do I hate today? (I actually LOVE [see, I can love]) this thread!
I'm very disappointed in people.
And, sometimes I don't know if I've been lied to, or if a situation has changed, but sometimes I feel deceived and betrayed.
Rath, that could be the result of high expectations, which I also have, and leads to constant disappointments. We must learn to lower the bar.
What the world needs now
Is love, sweet love.
It's the only thing that there's just too little of.
