I need to go to Super Target and my local supermarket for groceries in the morning, so I'm sure I'll pick up my copy from one of them. (The supermarket is really promoting it, they had a display up front with the earlier books, HP balloons, party supplies, etc.) I don't know how all the bookstores are handling it this time, but when OotP came out, I went to Borders at 9 am on Saturday to get mine. They were handing them out from the service desk in the middle of the store; they had one cart set up with the number of copies they needed to fill their reservations, and boxes of extras for those of us who had not reserved - I didn't have a reservation, and had no trouble getting one.

So is everyone on this th4read going to be holed up in their rooms reading all day? I can not wait for Harry Potter 6: Man, I really wish I could get excited about this book, since i'm such a bookworm, but alas, I never did catch the Harry Potter bug.

Well, im definetly pretty excited, Amazon has sent me an item sent notification!!

Edit to add: Wow Amazon means buisness, tracked it and it is only one town over from me!
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

I cannot wait for this book! Thank god I am not the only adult excited about this. I will be at Barnes & Noble tomorrow morning elbowing kids out of my way to get my copy.

People laugh when I say something like this (ie elbowing little ones out of the way), but I am all serious. If anybody gets inbetween me and my potter book, they are going down!

P.S. This means linecutters and the like, I'm not going to bowl down a long line of kids who have been waiting, only the little suckers who try to push me out of the way first.

I'm psyched for the book. My brother just left to go to a party (he's actually working, not attending though.) I do work at a theater day camp though, and the shows are tomorrow, so we had to make a "No Harry Potter" rule so the kids will actually pay attention to the show instead of the book.
Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!

Anyone wanna recap the important events/end chapters of hte last book as a refresher? I can not wait for Harry Potter 6:

Or at least tell me what chapter I should start at if I want to reread part of the fifth book?
