I auditioned for THE MUSIC MAN in my hometown and it is the first audition I have ever been on with folks that didn't already know me from teaching me at my college. I am SO excited. This is part of my self therapy to stop being so negative and putting myself down all the time. Usually, I would make up excuses to why I couldn't/shouldn't audition for something, but I want to get out of this mind set, so I went and auditioned and I have a call back tonight. Even if I don't get one of the two parts I want, at least I did something out of my ordinary self and just by the guy telling me, "Congratulations, we have chosen you to come to call backs tonight" makes me feel better about myself.

Start making demands right away, like, you need your own dressing room and you don't rehearse after a certian time...
Directors LOVE that.

Sometimes it's amazing what you realize you can do when you get out of your own way, you know? I say that as someone who often gets in my own way.
Congratulations, break a leg, and use the good feelings you have from this to keep propelling yourself forward.

Ashley--Yep . . . . that is the audition that I sang "The Kite" for.
Diva--My lawyer says for legal reasons, I can not show that video. Too many people have been stalking me lately because it got put on the internet by someone looking to black mail me.
