He's not the one with the large package. That was my college BF. He was my HS BF.
He just wrote on my wall. He said I was still as cute as a button, and that he was in Dubai (wtf?) and saw a guy I went to HS with there (he went to a neighboring HS) and they were talking about me. Huh?
So maybe I can work this borrow the house angle.

More developments in my absence! Young adult and teenage women who only know each other on the net get together for a weekend (better yet a week) in a $10 million home in the Hamptons in NY? Is this a screenplay or TV script?
This needs some research. I'll bring the root beer. I'll bring Stolichnaya, too, but root beer is good with snacks.

Posted: 1/22/09 at 9:43pmI'll bring the fixings for pomegranate martinis. I love them (I am already drunk because I just got back from book club. We didn't talk about the book very much. We drank alot of wine, tho.)

"I am already drunk because I just got back from book club."
Danmag I don't even allow myself excuses like "book club" to get tipsy. Just give me this week's issue of T.V. Guide and I'm ready to go.
And I'm actually partial to grape martinis or dirty martinis with 2 olives. Yes I do have a classy side, I don't always French complete strangers and drink from a keg. I'm a lady...so I use a beer-bong. I repeatedly asked my friends to take those pictures down from Facebook, but they ignored me...those b*tches!!

Pomegranate martinis are so.effing.good. They're second only to Appletinis for me.
Maisie: twenty-one, schmenty-one. I was enjoying the fine effects of alcohol at sixteen!

OK, this is the mom and former HS teacher in me......
Masie, you don't drink until you're 21! There I said it.
I'm not much for all the martini things......Just give me a glass of vino and I'm happy. Mojitos are always good too. Or just a plain ole vodka cranberry with a splash of selzer. And a lime.

Posted: 1/23/09 at 8:07amNot drinking til 21 seems so strange to me. I was getting wine at home from about 9 years old, and was allowed a little of anything from a bit older. I had expensive tastes as a kid - proper malt whisky kthx!

Posted: 1/23/09 at 10:38amNo, Maisie. They are being smart. Had my parents done that, I wouldn't have been throwing up peppermint schnapps when I was 15.

my parents dont keep alcohol in the house...
My parents were quite the opposite. They have a liquor closet. An entire closet. Me and my sister knew exactly what they did and didn't drink too. So back in high school we'd make a little extra cash by selling it to our friends.

I love this thread, although I have absolutely no idea what is going on anymore. Haha!
Yeah, my parents don't drink that much, so that's why I was a good girl until college. Okay, it's also because I was never invited to parties in high school that were like that. But, my freshman year roommates and friends corrupted me for life. Name it, I probably tried it at some point.

HAHAHA!
One of Henry's babysitters was stealing my vodka and rum and replacing it with water. I went to make myself a vodka cranberry and I was like WTF? Needless to say she's not his sitter anymore.
