The grocery store near me makes a peanut butter cream pie thingie that is in an oreo cookie crust. And it's drizzled with caramel. And has shaved chocolate on top, with a little reeses peanut butter cup.
I want one so bad right now.

Ever been to the Cheesecake Factory? They have several varieties of cheesecake, including, if memory serves, a peanut butter one. I've had their Godiva chocolate cheesecake, and it is absolutely to die for.

Over the past few days I've been munching my way through $14 worth of Belgian chocolate-covered cookies and biscuits from Costco. The espresso cookies dipped in dark chocolate are my favorite so far.

After three months of slimming down, avoiding sugar and certain carbs and exercising, i'm kind of falling off the wagon. Since chocolate's off limits to me now, i'm going for the cheese and crackers, the occasional slice of almond cake. After two weeks, i'm pudging up again, dammit. It's just not fair. Those Oreos in a glass sound heavenly to me now.

I'll take an original glazed!
When I was pregnant this guy used to come in to our office to do real estate closings, and he would always bring a big box of Krispy Kremes. Needless to say I'd eat like 3 of them.

Did someone say Cheesecake Factory??? OMG! I wish there were one in Manhattan. I know you can order them on line, but I don't think so.
Eating a piece of their cheesecake ranks among the best things i ever had.
p.s. I hope Namo doesn't get on my tukis again. He attacked me last time I started a thread about the Cheesecake Factory. He hates it.

I have officially been here too long. I opened up the Shipley Donuts link and said aloud, "Oh... it's on Houston." Pronouncing Houston, TX like that is enough to get you disowned in the south.
I have a food dehydrator so I bought some very sweet seedless grapes and made my own raisins. I then made homemade oatmeal cookies with them. They are beyond fantastic.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I'm not a fan of Cheesecake Factory, but I admit I love Grand Lux Cafe. Whenever my boyfriend is in town, he has to order the Asian Nachos at least once a week. The beignets there are fabulous as well. Not very authentic, but delicious nonetheless.

We don't have a lot of the chains that are in other parts of the country. I guess it's the rent. And now, with the economy, I'm not expecting anything new to open up any time soon. Today I saw that almost every store on 8th street is empty.
