Hooray, Elphaba! Roundtrip? From where to where? I'm planning my Europe trip for 2007 now, and after your and BlueWizard's advice, I'm going to make a pitstop in Bruges for a night or two. Debating between Barcelona or Amsterdam...might also try to hit Turkey while we're in Greece...decisions, decisions. I love it! (What's your main mode of transport? Train?)
Oh here, I found the original asshole thread. (Thank you, DG, for keeping your posts concise enough that I could gather sufficient information in the first few lines!) Keep in mind that this was Di2's FIRST post on this thread, and there wasn't anyone personally provocating her:

I just read about the walk at its website
and you guys are a**holes because you are blowing it out of proportion and stirring up people's emotions. Didn't your parents raise you well enough to know that discussing politics in mixed company is in poor taste?
It's simply a WALK and that's all. I agree that Clint Black's song (and his attendance) is a tad random and inappropriate but there is nothing wrong with a walk to commemorate a historical event. It's not like it's the "9/11 Freedom Circus" with chimpanzees dressed at Saddam and a Carnival outside or anything like that.
I couldn't give a rat's ass about your opinions and your postings have nothing to do with a Broadway Theatre board.
Find the appropriate forum for political ranting.
