That's the stuff that I grew up with- loved it!
Whenever I flip to the channel right now, I cringe. Can't watch anything there anymore.

Posted: 9/5/04 at 7:21pmLegend of the Hidden Temple...did they ever actually win that game? It was entertaining. And they always asked the kids what they want to be when they grow up, and half the girls said they wanted to be the first female president. Someday our country will be run by former Legend of the Hidden Temple contestants!

What-you don't like Jimmy Neutron?
I used to love Nick, but the quality of their programming has severely decreased over the years.

I was a silver monkey. Remember there was a rumor that one of the temple guards that grabbed kids was actually a child molester and kidnapped a kid, and thats why the show went of the air??
How did they get that water to smoke?

I can't remember what the show title is, can anyone please enlighten me?
It's a 'game show' type thing where the contestants were in virtual reality type video games, and that's how they competed. I loved that show...but can't remember its name for th elife of me.

Global Guts...? Nah, I don't know.
I personally loved "The Secret World of Alex Mack". I always wanted to be coated in G-6 or whatever it was, so I could melt and move and stuff.
I never got into "Rocco's Modern Life", but enjoyed "Clarissa" and "Legends of the Hidden Temple"
Alex Mack still reigns supreme for Nick shows in my eyes.

Posted: 9/5/04 at 8:00pmThe Gnomes was the best show! I totally forgot about that---its was like the only show I was allowed to watch in the summer.

Ahem.
Camp Onawona, we hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you--it makes me wanna fart!
It's I hope we never part now get it right or pay the price!
Now we will share a lifetime of the fondest memories
By the Lake of Onawona, set in the old pine treets
Came Onawona, we hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you--this thing came apart...
Think Onawona-wana, Speak Onawona-wana, Live Onawona-wana UG!
I LOVED Salute Your Shorts! Nick used to be sooo good--even NICK JR used to be better--what with Eureka's Castle, Gulla Gulla Island, and (my personal favorite) The Muppet Hour! And Disney used to rock--Under the Umbrella Tree, The Secret Lives of Toys, Adventures in Wonderland... before all this Lizzie Maguire crap.
Ah, the good ol' days...

Posted: 9/5/04 at 8:36pmWhen I was little I watched my first episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark despite my brain screaming that I would have nightmares (as little children often do). I should have listened to my brain.

Posted: 9/5/04 at 8:55pmI found teh show funny. I didn't get nightmares until my sister told me that watching Y7 TV would make a monster come out and eat you if you hadn't turned 7.

I loved that show. I always felt bad for the first person that went into the temple b/c those horrible temple guys would pop out, grab them, and scare them half to death!
