This is AMAZING! Let's see if it tops 100 by the end of the week. It is slowing down a bit but I am still hopeful!

Some upcoming films featuring characters with ALS: Hilary Swank plays a pianist diagnosed with ALS in “You’re Not You”.

And Eddie Redmayne plays Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything,” which I hope to see at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival.

I'm so happy to see what started out as a negative thread turn into something beautiful and inspiring. I'm glad it wasn't deleted.
Someone asked to see Stephen Hawkings' challenge?
His kids stand in for him.

I just read an article by a woman who's father has ALS. He needed a ramp built at his house and the ALS people said it was too expensive. Then after this challenge started, they called back and said with the influx of money they had gotten, they were going to pay for his ramp after all.
