The next James Bond should be gay. I mean, it was hinted at in Skyfall, so it's not so unreasonable. I volunteer to be a the first Bond Boy.

Ten years ago Cavill lacked the seasoning for the role IMHO. However, today I think he'd make a better Bond than Batman. And Namo, Clive Owen was born to play Bond a decade ago.
I also think that Idris Elba would make one helluva Bond villain today with the right script, especially if he was written as a vengeful operative passed over as a 00-series agent by MI5. A menacing Idris with his 6' 3" frame squaring off against a ruggedly built 6' 1" Cavill would be an epic clash of the titans. The next Bond needs a larger than life presence on screen.

I'd like to see them get an actor in their early 30s so they could stick with the franchise for a good amount of movies. Don't really care who they pick as long as the movies are entertaining. I didn't intitally like Craig but the movies won me over.

Second that he could not have played bond 10 years ago. His rugged charm is less Farmer Bill than Craig though. Btw Cavil is playing Superman, not Batman.
