I would have to thank my friend Karen who is my biggest supporter and whose enthusiasm and admiration of my voice inspired me to sing again after years of forgetting that it was what I really loved to do. If ever I won a Tony, it would be directly traced back to her pushing me toward it. *tears up*

Then I would thank as many people who supported me on my way as I could before they start the "shut up Rath" music. And you know I'd give a shout out to BWW.com!

yeah, i'm not gonna lie...i've practiced infront of my bathroom mirror. quite a bit.

i'd do all the cliche thank you's and then i'd thank my middle school choral director for taking me to see cats when i was 11

The first person I'd thank would be my director who I've been with since I was 3 for helping me learn to love theatre. Then I'd thank my friend for giving me RENT, that made me fall in love with theatre. And of course I'd thank my parents for taking me to see all of the shows and investing their money into my performing career. Then probably the people who helped me get the Tony (casting director, producer, director, agents, etc.) Then the rest of my friends and family. And the people who pick the Tony winners.

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...
