I do have a real non-irrational fear, small places. To combat it I co spelunking every year and crawl through caves that have only 12-18 inches of clerence. ( Talk about hyperventilating!)

My irrational fear - pansies. Yes, the flower. I think the movie Alice and Wonderland had something to do with it - always thought that the pansies were actually a crazy little face...

NOT irrational if you grew up where I did Nugget! Crack house on teh corner, hooker across the street, someone breaking into the house next door while I was home alone, a cop (BIG butch lesbian) I ran into at a bar KNOWING my address from having chased someone through my yard before...... need I go on?

Squirrels! Especially when there are tons of them in the quad in the dead of winter all sitting deathly still in the trees and gnawing on nuts. The sound is very creepy and their little eyes watching you. (shivers) The snow makes it sound even odder, and you just expect them to come scampering down the trees to attack your jugular.

I also am scared of Porcelin dolls. They're scary. Also:
Striped curtains
Clown masks
Clowns
Lightbulbs with these little colored things in the middle
Open closets

ok this is an awful fear-because they re really cool-but i will run and hide if i see a dog-i am so so sos scared of them! my friend has a dog nad i love her hose-so she locks her dog in he neighbors yard when i go over there, but i still scream whenever it barks
and fireworks-i sobbed through thtme thi sjuly cuz the rest of my family wanted to go-i just sobed they scare the sh*t out of me-i dont know why...

I used to be terrified of heights but somehow I conquered that fear.
