She sings like a dream and I love the diva, flaws and all. But hell yes...she's too damn expensive. It's like a big F you to fans like my mom, my aunts and middle-income people who can't afford it. Telling them that they don't really matter.

I'm sure that it would be a great show to see....but it's way too expensive IMO.....especially for someone who is supposed to be retired from concerts...
Yes, it is expensive...absolutely. I agree, Aliceripleysnumber1. Look how many times Frank Sinatra and Tina Turner said that they were going to stop performing in concert?
When you're an artist you just can't "turn off" those creative juices like a water faucet, I suppose.

Will any of Barbra's concerts from this tour be televised at some point?
No one is worth that with the possible exception of Channing doing Dolly & Dolly playing Horace
Blueroses....the dvd of Barbra's concert from last year is due to come out this Fall. No exact release date has been determined. It's supposed to air on Showtime first...then be released. So, we'll see what happens.

God Barbra as if the Europeans dont hate us enough already...
Europeans hate us Americans? I was in Norway this past summer for 2 weeks....never got that vibe from anyone.
What was your experience when you were in Europe?
