She sings like a dream and I love the diva, flaws and all. But hell yes...she's too damn expensive. It's like a big F you to fans like my mom, my aunts and middle-income people who can't afford it. Telling them that they don't really matter.

Yes, it is expensive...absolutely. I agree, Aliceripleysnumber1. Look how many times Frank Sinatra and Tina Turner said that they were going to stop performing in concert?
When you're an artist you just can't "turn off" those creative juices like a water faucet, I suppose.

Posted: 5/29/07 at 8:54pmBlueroses....the dvd of Barbra's concert from last year is due to come out this Fall. No exact release date has been determined. It's supposed to air on Showtime first...then be released. So, we'll see what happens.

Europeans hate us Americans? I was in Norway this past summer for 2 weeks....never got that vibe from anyone.
