Interesting how the media jumps on everything hillary / barack, ripping clinton to shreds or going on and on about obama's pastor... but no one talks about how McCain has the worst senate attendance record.

is he getting a free pass right now due to the obama / clinton feud?

I think he is. When he misspoke and Lieberman whispered in his ear to correct him, it was about as unpresidential as it could get. Yet, it got very little attention.

the media is much more interested in the democratic race because it is a race. plus - since most of them are democrats - it's outcome is much more important to them than johnny mac's little fox pauses. there is an element that thinks that keeping both democrats in the news 24/7 is better for them than putting them on the back pages for mccain.

rest assured, some 527 is working that moment into an ad right now. i would assume that they will wait and use it very late in the race so johnny mac will have little time to counter-punch.

I think they probably are giving him a free pass right now because the Dem race makes for much better TV.

But remember that in the general election, video of these instances will still be available for use, just as much as the Wright sermons and the Bosnia clips will be. I think things will change once the drama of the Dem primary ends. The good thing is that the Dem nominee will have already tested the waters and will hopefully have learned what responses work and don't work with their issues. That may be an advantage.

It will also require a Dem candidate willing to sling as much mud as the Republicans will. And until Obama and Glinda decide to go Rove on McCain's ass, we won't be getting media coverage of McCain's necrophilic relationship with the corpse of John F. Kennedy.

The Democratic race is much more interesting to the press, that's why no one is really paying attention to McCain. Once the Democrats decide what the ticket is, then well... we'll see at that point I guess.

lol. ok.

catholics? minority. muslims? minority. homosexuals? minority.

white people? majority. 77% in the last presidential election.

a black guy in a dashiki screaming god damn america? a game changer.

a white preacher railing about minorities? why that's never happened in an election year.

there is also tidbit that one is just a guy who endorsed a candidate and the other is practically a family member of the candidate. yep, exactly the same.

Policies and qualifications aside, McCain has one of the WORST speaking voices I have ever heard. I was listening to a speech of his the other night and thinking, "Do we ever get a break? Are we going to have to listen to THAT for the next four-to-eight years, after suffering through a near-decade of 'Amurca'?"

Who would play McCain on "Saturday Night Live" if he won?

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
