My costume class was cancelled!! I'll be at your audition. I haven't gotten exact positions yet. I was told I may be runner...but I asked to be MT monitor. That's the person that collects headshots and your monologue/music lists paper thing...and we introduce you .

Yep, headshot/resume.

Two contrasting songs...make sure thy're cut: 16 or 32 bars. They get a little antsy if they're not!

You don't need a statement unless you want to. They'll maybe read it and perhaps say something to you regarding your statement.

Remember, possible sight singing or cold reading. It's a scene from PROOF! You'll have a senior MT reading with you!

Dance is before!! There will be food. Bagels, fruit, coffee, water bottles, and tea!

You will be given time to warm up before you go in, but do so anyways before you get here!

This is what I recommend you do, it's what my friend did when she auditioned about 3 weeks ago. Wear your tights and leotard under your dress so you can change quickly. The dance will take about an hour! You'll do some barre work. I think across the floor. Maybe an adaggio. You'll also do a jazz combo. The last one they did was West Side Story. But earlier in the auditions they did a dance to a Britney Spears song. So just be ready. Once you get in there, stretch!!! Ralph is always watching, this is what he told us!!!

We gave Shia small pieces of carrot and he didn't like it at all. He does like sliced apples, though. He loves rice! We're always sure to cook him some when we have rice for dinner (we're so Asian!). His tail wags and he goes nuts.
