Uh oh! I've got so many little scars on my fingers and hands from cooking, it's crazy!
Extreme cold temperature won't make it feel better. Luke warm's the best option.

I accidentally caught a lampshade on fire with a candle when I was about 7 or 8. Then the curtain caught on fire. Then the wall...
My mom burnt her hand trying to put it out. I don't remember what happened afterwards, as far as repairs went. I do remember her shiny scar on her thumb, though.

Posted: 12/20/07 at 3:46pmshamey, my sister used toothpaste too when my hand was badly burned as a kid. I don't remember if it helped any, but my hand was disfigured and I ended up having reconstruction surgery when I was older.
