Well, aren't we a cheery bunch this morning?
As you can tell by my AV I am in mourning over Idol last night...damn IDIOTS !!!
Morning.
I feel lousy too. What is it with us today? Are we all that bonded now?
Let me reiterate...it's night!
But it's a sh!tty night, so I'll commiserate with you guys...
Damn essays! Anyone know anything interesting about the effect of proportional representation electoral systems on political outcomes for women in Europe?
Doxy you just gave me a migrane with that question *passes out*
Can I make it easier? I'll make it more specific...
It's a comparative analysis using Sweden and the Netherlands, with the UK as an example of poor outcomes for women in non-proportional polities...
*waves* It seems every time I come in here there's some serious discussion going that I can't contribute to. Anyways; German 3 and Choir finals are today should be fun.
Doxy, it may be night for you but it's early in the morning on the east coast. I wish I could help you, but I'm with Boobs on this. I haven't even had my coffee yet. Besides, you're asking Americans. What the hell do we know about international politics?
Ask Linnie.
Soapy, good luck on your exams today!
I'm just mucking around...
Not even *I* can help myself with this question!
It's a tough one. Makes ya think!
I hate that. Especially before I've had my coffee.
Trust me...this question has required a LOT of coffee...
Doxy, what is your pov that you are trying to support? That women are under represented in politics as to the number of women in a given population?
I would just google a bunch of statistics to show that and then draw some sort of conclusion based on the ratios.
Also, ask Radigal. I garauntee she could help.
Oh...I have about 10 texts and 15 journals that support my argument...
It's just tedious, is all!
Good luck with it, Doxy. But Taz has an excellent suggestion - Radi is an expert. It wouldn't hurt to PM her, even if just to confirm or refute of some of the facts you have.
I might just do that...
Thanks guys!
My chest feels like I've been run over by a large truck.
Oddly, four of the women in my office have told me this morning that I look especially fabulous today...I wonder if I should be tubercular more often?
I'm sorry.
Feel better Jaily!
(and Tazzy, and anyone else who is sick.)
I'm not really sick, I'm just feeling blah.
ETA: And now that I've been named CotD, a little dazed and shaky.
I'm still all congested, and I leave for the cruise on Sunday, this is not cool.
I had throat goo earlier this week, but it went away before it turned into anything. But I have a vacation next weekend, so cover your mouth, sickies!
It's a tough time for allergies, even mild ones are acting up (including mine) so dont jump to germy conclusions, kids.
You are probably right Doodle. I hate that I never suffered from allergies until about two years ago. Stupid body changes ever 7 years!!!!
Hi guys and gals.
Hey DJ!
I'm starting a new job today. At a veterinarian's office. Which means I'm wearing scrubs. The horror!
