There are violins in the song, but I think what makes it notable is the cello part, the... dahhh da-da-da-da dahhh da dahh da-da-da, if you get what I mean. You don't? Well, neither do I, but I'm tired, so there.
Can we just discuss again how fierce I look in Robbie's av? Robbie actually looks really good too. I mean, everyone in it obviously looks good, because we're all really, really attractive, but Robbie and I have our heads most convincingly attached to our bodies.
And as I TRIED to write last night, I do like "Still Hurting," just not where it falls in the show. Because of the conceit, Cathy starts out whining about things that the audience doesn't know have happened yet, and so instinctively we aren't instantly drawn to her. I especially hate the line "Covered with scars I did nothing to earn," because it's so patently untrue. Yes, Jamie is the one who acts on his lesser impulses, but Cathy is definitely partly to blame, and a claim like that turns us against her in a way. When Jamie shows up in the next song singing about how infatuated with her he is, it puts us on his side to such a degree that we're never really even meant to start liking Cathy until "A Summer In Ohio" at the very earliest. In the end, I don't think we ever get to like Cathy as much until "Goodbye Until Tomorrow," and even then, it's just not the same. The show is skewed indelibly towards Jamie's egotistical, cut-and-run viewpoint.
Hahah that sounds really strong reading it, and doesn't really reflect the fact that L5Y is probably in my top three to five shows of all time, but... yeah, that's the very limited thing I don't like about it.
Wow, we're talking about theatre in here.
Allow the musician to clear this up, kids.
It's a string quartet. Two violins, a viola and a 'cello.

I stand corrected, it is a cello, I was just thinking something else!
Yeah, the picture is pretty cool. Hahaha, you look pretty amazing Sam, you have the 'tude going in the pose and head positioning and everything.
Actr looks pretty good too, but we need to do something about his face color...
Akiva and Taz are a bit too dark headed for the bodies
hahaha...sigh, Ralps (ballet teacher) was being a bitch to two guys in class today...I wasn't one of them, thank God...but yeah...
I need a backrub.
And a drink.

I need a nap...I woke up a lot in the middle of the night, no clue why!
I'll nap after my english class...
I just rolled out of bed. Ivan has an early morning meeting, and I have to give Shia his medicine all by himself.
It's 7:30AM.
Ugh.
Naps are so very excellent.

I just realized, I'll be making the transition into Broadway Legend, hopefully tonight.
I'm at 978!
pish...proper napping can be very helpful to one's Circadian rhythm. It's all in the timing and technique.

Well, Jaily...SOOOOORRRRRRYYYYYY
When do I have time? For not working, I have a really busy life.
Three projects (one musical, one play, and one feature length screenplay), I'm a stay at home daddy and I'm the one who does most of the cleaning around here.
If I napped, something wouldn't happen.
I did something yesterday I never thought I'd do. I asked my grandparents to loan us a few dollars to help pay for Shia's hospital bill. I thought they'd do it because it's for Shia and not for me, but my gracious grandmother thought it was a bad idea since I don't have a job to pay them back. Well, excuse me but I have a job. And Ivan makes money. He makes very good money, except we don't save any of it. A lot of the time (like now), I just wanna scream, "We're staying together so it's high time you accept us!" And by scream, I mean in bold, big letters because we never talk on the phone.
Why do old people have to be difficult?

Cause they think they know it all?!
I think we need to start a fundraiser! I'll sell chocolate bars!
He makes very good money, except we don't save any of it.
I'm sure I speak for many when I say that this statement obliterates any tiny shreds of sympathy that any of us MAY have had for you, dear.
We started too, but then we bought Shia and we've had some house problems and we really haven't been able to do any catch up.
Its not like we live extravagantly or anything. Our biggest purchase over the last six months was Shia. The rest have been bills and trips to the market. No shows. No fancy dinners. No shopping.
I don't remember the last time we went shopping.

Today is definitely a jeans and hoodie day!
Nitsua, hang in there. At least you won't have to owe anything to your grandmother. This is what scares me about the future. Supporting myself as an actor. I have no doubt I won't have jobs, I knew I'll be booked, but just maintaining a steady income, which is close to impossible. But that's why we live for the art!
I'm looking forward to my box, it'll be in Central Park! Look for me
I'll be sure to stop by your box in the park with Starbucks in the morning for you, Robbie.

Awwww, thanks Jaily! That made my day!
I'll be tapping some days, with a hat in front of my residence. At least I'll have a nice back yard!
I'm confident in myself and in my ability to know that I'll be a successful writer. And soon. I just have to finish. That's my hardest thing is finishing.
I don't want to do anything else. I have to write. I need to write. And I'm damn good at it.
There's the Nitsy we all know and, well, know.
