I was just looking at the Legally Blonde tour. It's not coming to Chicago. It's stopping in Hartford, though. Robs, you can expect me in December. :o)
I saw LB on MTV. that was enough.
I saw it in person... THAT was enough.
Mauri, a lot of cities haven't announced their tour seasons yet. I'm sure it will have a Chicago stop.

We're actually having some trouble in Chicago. We've lost our three major theaters to shows with open-runs. It's a problem.

Jason, did you hear the LBB **** up on youtube?! Can she hit a damn note?!
MAURI!!! We're going on a date, leave your hubby at home!
Oh crap. What shows? Wicked, Jersey Boys, and... The Pirate Queen?
BTW, Robbie, I totally memorized that sh*t and went to class! I'm such a good boy!
your dedication is inspiring actr.

Mary Poppins starts after the new year. I'm less than thrilled.

My mom saw it in the city and loved it. But then again...it's my mom, I mean, c'mon!
She is the epitome of Elle Woods...she's hot and has brains Did I mention she carries a dog in a purse as well?!
Actr...wow...I'm proud of you. Standing-o. BTW I saw vids of DESSA ROSE...Cat'lyn is purrty fierce!
hey guys is D2 checking in? I really need to ask J2 something
Hah...Mauri, trust me Chicago is doing just FINE compared to the Toronto scene right now which is crumbling rapidly as of last month. Between Ha'Penny Bridge (a big musical with a mostly Toronto cast, headed on a pre-Broadway tryout) being cancelled, Stratford and CanStage have a lot of drama in the upper ranks, and Equity Showcase Theatre shutting down...I have lately started looking into options in other cities and countries. I hope at the very least what can come out of this is smaller companies starting to emerge, and audiences becoming more willing to give them a chance.
Akiva
I sense a note of sarcasm Taz and Robby...
I totally missed "Dessa". Oops!

I might have to bring my wife with me, but you have room for two gorgeous chicks in your dorm, right?

The last note...BRUTAL. The best part is she tried it again only to start on the same note...

You have my sympathies, Akiva. That definitely sucks.
OUCH!
(to LBB's note)
I love that song though.

Actr...RobbIE...I will not tolerate the Y. That is all
Hahaha, no sarcasm at all...maybe Taz was sarcastic! Oh, let's talk about how my acting teacher told me I owed her a monologue and she didn't even make me do it after I said I was ready!
I was being sincere.

I know, Taz. You have to see this video that one of my fresh MTs made. He was making fun of that little mermaid contest:

Well thanks. I do deserve a little ass kick though. I'm getting wicked lazy!
And that NOTE! OWWWWWWW! How can you be that tone deaf? Twice? TWICE?! Yikes. If that's all I have to do to get a Tony nomination...
Wait, that got a Tony nomination over the perfection that was Kristin Chenoweth in "The Apple Tree"? Two words: Screw. That.
