My hub actually suggested that we get a St. Bernard, except all of the apartments we're looking at have a 25 pound limit for pets.

Yup. It works for me, though, since I was raised with small dogs. We had a Maltese when I was growing up, and now my family has a Shih Tzu.

I love my mom's little chihuahua. She's the cutest. She's not even a little bitch like most chihuahua's she's very sweet and very outgoing! I also love my boxer. I think he's about 45 lbs. The little one is 4 lbs. My boxer stayed small.

But we live in a house, in FL, with no weight limit

You could never kill CoCo, that dogs move fast then your leg moves. I've kicked her plenty, though. And she never gets hurt. She's also fallen from high places and is in one piece!

Now on the other hand, we went to go buy chihuahua's in Jacksonville with a family friend and her male chihuahua is tiny. I'd love to step on him and kill him! He's a little dick!

oh great a dog that can make you trip! loves those little yappers! NOT! lol sorry, just messing with you. i actually love all dogs. I just have a lot of kids and small dogs in general aren't as tolerant with kids.

I prefer dogs I can pick up and hold if they're being unruly. Our little ones always think that they're big dogs and try to save the house from some sort of imminent danger whenever a repairman or the water guy shows up. It's nice to be able to just pick them up and dump them on the couch in the other room.
