No...I'm conflicted.
work out the pros and cons and on a sheet of paper and think about them objectively.

There's gotta be one that you want to do more, right?
Broadway Legend Joined: 6/20/06
Yeah, but I know how my parents would react. Not that it should be about them, really.
It's just something I need to talk about...

Sure. I'll run over your options with you if you want.

Home from rehearsal!
Somehow it was decided tonight that after our April 12 evening show, everybody will be coming back to my house and sleeping over...I wonder how I'll break this one to mom?
Surprise!
You'll figure something out, Deeg.
I thought I had act 2 figured out, but I've come across some problems. Ugh. I wanna finish this stupid thing!

Good luck!
I got my wig tonight. Its so heavy that I have to wrap it around my shoulders to walk. And my eyebrows and eyes are so dark, they pop under the blond wig! Its way too fun!
We want pictures!
I came across a big problem while writing act 2, and now I have to pretty much write a new outline.
Parts of the scenes I've already written are salvageable, but I've got to renumber, change a few things and add some more scenes.
I swear this musical will be the end of me!

Oh, but aren't all musicals? You must have known going into it!
I'll get some pictures soon. I get to pick out my dress on Monday, as well as my prom gown at the same place. Our costume lady has crazy amounts of costumes in her attic.
I hate having to redo this outline.
Whatcha doin' tonight, Deeg?

Hey everyone!
Hahaha, DGG as a blonde! I'd love to see that!

Nothing. I'll be going to bed soon.
I've had a craptastic week, and sleep seems to be the best relief right now. My "friends" are not helping. I'm ready to be out of the house and making new friends and being me without the consequences and without being called weak for it.

I hope they're still throwing you that party!

If you come to the show, you'll see it.
No, no party. Remember, I didn't make it in anywhere? And did you see the quotations around "friends"?
Yeah.

Ohhhh...ugh...that's what I hate about friends outside of theatre. Sometimes they just don't get it. I mean, I have a group of non theatre friends, but they seem to get it. And they support me and go to every show. So I don't know...I guess when you live in a small town it's harder.
I know, I know! This second act has given us so much trouble. Whatever makes it better, I guess.
I swear I hit post like ten minutes ago.
Sheesh!

Everybody in your life supports you, it seems.
Lucky you.

Well, my mom was denied the right to do anything in the arts. So it comes naturally for her to support me. And I guess I was just surrounded by the right people.
My mom wanted to be a ballerina, but her father didn't approve because men had to touch her in certain places for lifts and such. He was the strict dad that chose what profession his children would go into. So yea...he used to make his kids walk with books on their head

OK.
Well, I'm going to bed now. I'm in too bad of a mood to post anymore.

Not much! Super happy cause one of my best friends just got back from LA. Her mom got pneumonia, so she had to stay and take care of her mother. So I just had some quality best friend time with Lauren and Sasha!
