Mentioned in conversation with Elvis Mitchell; no further details
He also says if the play is well received he may adapt it into "[his] last movie".

I love QT and his writing style would translate perfectly to the stage. Real question is does he also direct it himself or is he wise enough to bring in a more seasoned theatre person?
I hate his adamance that he will only make 10 films because he doesn’t think any filmmaker does their best work late in life (which is different than wanting to retire to enjoy his later years).

He said this about The Hateful Eight. I would love to see it actually happen.

It could end up being a Nicole Scherzinger in Sunset Blvd. sized event for foot fetishists.

According to the Daily Mail. Tarantino "has written an original, old-fashioned British farce, in the door-slamming, trouser-dropping, mistaken identity vein of Brian Rix or Ray Cooney." aimed at premiering on the West End in 2027 or even late 2026.
Normally I wouldn't take the Daily Mail at face value, but the story was also picked up by Variety, so that gives it a little more credibility.

He says it's going to be a classic British-style farce.
"Quentin Tarantino's Excuse Me, There's A Naked Woman in the Lav". Not at all on your bingo card, but coming soon to the National Theatre.

I heard him say in an interview (or maybe it was a podcast) last year that he wanted to write a play mainly because he does not like the fact that movies go to streaming so quickly, and that he wants his films to be seen in movie theaters. So the best alternative is to write a play so that in order to see it, you have to go to a theater to see it performed live. Makes perfect sense to me. QT writes some of the best dialogue in modern entertainment in my opinion so I am really looking forward to this whenever it actually comes to fruition.

Very interesting title...I'm also expecting a Red Apple cigarette to be smoked and somebody to order a Big Kahuna burger as well.

I think it's actually a terrible title--and Tarantino is great at titles--but I'm still excited about this. Glad to see he has such strong support among the regulars here. I didn't expect that, and I'm happily surprised.
