I was chopping olives a few months ago for pasta and I almost chopped off the end of my left thumb. I cut halfway through the nail. (My thumb was on its side.)
After calling 911 (I was home alone), four or five really hunky firemen came over, in the firetruck. They looked at it and said that I didn't need stitches, but I shouldn't use it and keep it straight and wrapped up with gauze.
It healed within the week.

I just used them because they're from England, therefore, they aren't cookies. They're biscuits.

What a louse way to spend the weekend - I remember thats how they cast A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC - I didn't hear from the director until Sunday night. One of the longest weekends of my life.
Chocolate Oliver Biscuits? Anyone ever have them? They're to die for!

Yes, Deet. I'm not looking forward to this weekend at all...especially since the biscuits are almost gone.
DD, my best friend is assistant directing, and she has just as much say in the casting as the director does. It's horribly tough for both of us.
