I'm officially an old man! I just called in my first ever noise complaint.
And it was on a church that has really loud services out on the street one or two times a week. So, I'm a hellbound old man!

This reminded me of an interesting etymology for the word "testify".
In Rome when a man would have to appear in the courts, he would cover his testicles with his hand as if he was swearing on them. They represented his manhood, and were therefore condsidered to be the most valuble thing he could swear on.
Hence "testifying".
So remember that next time you hear a Mahalia cd.
