JERSEY BOYS?!?!
ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME?!?!
I think I'll go kill myself now...
First of all... GO LACHANZE! I LOVE YOU!
Now.... WHAT THE HECK WERE THE TONY VOTERS THINKING MOST OF THE NIGHT? Pajama Game? Jersey Boys? You have got to be kidding me! I was screaming and I'm not even joking! JLY winning over Cerveris! Hoff winning over Mano or Jim Dale? Thank God for LaChanze and Beth Leavel!
I HATE THE TONYS 2006!
I've done approximately 600 performances of FIDDLER. Various productions. Always Perchik (but not for quite some time, now).

Awwww. I love Perchik. I've benn in the chorus both times. But I love it. It was the first show I ever did.
It's a great show. Even though I was in it, so many times, I really never grew tired of doing it. It's a good chorus show, for sure. More so for the men, I suppose.

Yeah. It is a great chorus show. I hope I get to it many times. The music is so great.

Yeah, ummm, the American Theatre Wing is on DRUGS, almost as many different kinds as the Drama Desk people. Jersey Boys? It's not even ORIGINAL music. I mean, I'm sure it's a great show, but it should have been Drowsy or TCP. Come on. And WTF happened to Sweeney Todd?!?!? R-o-b-b-e-d! That's what happened! Freaking, JLY should go...away.
But even though I was so HAPPY that LaChanze won, what was up with her speech? It was kind of rude...ish. Well there was something wrong about it.
I was gonna post my sob story but anyone who has the stalker power can just go read it on the Greg thread.
I was dissapointed that Sweeney and Drowsy Chaperone didn't win, as well as Manoel and Patti.

Meh. Patti's great, but I'm glad LaChanze won.
Eh, came a little late into the discussion, but another Fiddler vet here! I adore that show. One of my best theatre experiences EVER was when I was playing Tzeitel in it. It's especially awesome because it's one of my older sister's favorite shows, but she's blonde and blue-eyed, and thus would look ridiculous trying to play a turn-of-the-century Jew. Sucks to be her.

You are fat.
Tonys were so, so disappointing.

Justa, in a production of Fiddler in a nearby town, all the girls are like, blonde haired and blue eyed.

Half of our Mikado chorus girls are blonde hair blue eyed
In my Fiddler, Chava and Tzeitel both have brown hair brown eyes but Hodel has red hair and blue eyes! They are all amazing, though!

College application essay. Mine is TOO damn cliche.
essay'd :(
Speaking of blonde Hodels, my favorite Hodel, my wife, from a production in the 80's.

From what I can tell, she pulls it off well.
