I watched Running With Scissors yesterday. Very weird movie. The book (which I've only read about a 1/3 of) was also weird--but the movie was pretty confusing. The first half was pretty horrible--they did a horrible job of leading up to events. The 2nd half managed to make me tear up a little bit.
The boy who played Augusten was also in Strangers With Candy (movie)--which was crazy because I watched that yesterday too. I had never seen the boy before and then I saw him in 2 movies yesterday. Crazy.
I also watched Little Miss Sunshine yesterday. It was pretty good until the end (which I thought was pretty stupid). I rented Jesus Camp and Grey Gardens today and have watched a little less than half of Grey Gardens. It's very hard to follow...this is my 2nd try at watching it. Now that I'm familiar with the musical, the documentary is a lot more interesting...
and that's my life story. Hope you all enjoyed it!
I have a question for you all--I have a try-out for a thing called "Scotsmen" at my school on Wednesday/Thursday in front of the student body. I have to perform a skit with a group. Which do you all think would be funnier--Parks as a goth or Parks as a drill team member?
