Well PM, please let me know if you feel like that again, silly! We can sulk and brood together, and then cheer ourselves up by thinking about Cabaret! :) We are here for you hun.
As strange as it sounds, this place was my savior in the weeks after my step father's death. It was a great escape from all the realities, and a lot of non judgmental people willing to listen to the lunatic rants of Tink's, lol!

PM, a little turbulance never hurt anyone.
At least not in the 152 I was in.
PM, what happened to make you feel that way?
Thanks, Tink.
The odd thing is that I don't even know what brought the feeling on. Sometimes, I get into moods of feeling unwanted and at times, neurotic. The other day, I nearly had a breakdown because I couldn't make myself a banner. They come and go, and so far, today hasn't been too awful... I think seeing the SNOOPY!!! picture on Facebook helped brighten my spirits.

hi i am back again briefly. and in the name of all that is holy, please pray that someone cancels their dental appointment in the next few days. The soonest they could get me in is the 18th. yeah 2 weeks from now i will be having surgery. in the mean time, i will be taking tylenol & orajel like mad. it could be a good time to buy stock in those companies.

Dentistry sucks. I read about your woes in my catch-up.
I may be going to Budapest later this year to have half of my mouth ripped open, shoved about and sewn back up again.
2 weeks?!? That's just cruel!
I'd call back every morning "just to check" if there have been any cancellations. If you're a pest, albeit a nicely mannered pest, maybe they'll take pity/get sick of hearing from you and get you in sooner.
I'm back. When I say whirlwind, I mean whirlwind. Two unconstructed Liz Claiborne blazers and a shirt, all on sale. Sorry Rath, sorry Tink. I actually like to shop alone.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a cancellation, Polly.
Budapest, Linnie? I know the Brits have bad dental care, but the Irish too?
why do you have to go there? no one in all of Ireland can do what you need? and what is it with people needing to have the whole roof of their mouths removed and put back in? what on earth is wrong with the roofs of your mouths that necessitate such action?

I never said anything about the roof of my mouth.
I could get it done in Ireland, but, as with everything, it costs too much here. It costs 20% of the Irish price in Budapest. Same procedure.
I had a full set of baby teeth, but I was missing 8 adult teeth. Many of my baby teeth didn't want to fall out because they knew there was nothing there to replace them (I'm not trying to personify teeth, really), so I had to get them taken out a few years ago. 6 in one go. That was very f*cking painful.
I now have only my adult teeth, but not enough of 'em, so they've spaced themselves out to spread the lurve. But I detest the gaps. I need a couple of implants, incisors, and have the rest shoved around a bit. That way I won't have to endure 4 years of brace-facedness.

In other news...
ouch.
i misread your previous post. i was thinking that you and DGG had to have the same thing done and *i think* she said they pretty much took the roof of her mouth out & put it back.

Yes, that's what hers sounded like to me too.
Uhm, you like dental work?

Yeah, I realised just after I posted that I had said that (SO not true) but I was too lazy to edit.
So, No, Deet, I don't.

This country is going crazy - a plane has now just crashed in the West, killing two.
I picked a bad day to fly.
Anyway, gotta go, see you all soon!
Guess who is on a guest list for a private screening of Hairspray tomorrow morning?
