I'm back...ah, the fun of litter boxes.
I'm bored. Who's around?
Grrr, my post got eaten.
basically what I said was thanks, Akiva, it's nice to know that this is kind of a unviersal thing. In a lot of ways, i'm still trying to figure out who I really am. That, I'm sure, will come with a lot of time and soul-searching but for now I have a number in my phone book for every mood and that'll work. Besides, I've always got one thing that will ultimately always understand me: Chocolate.
Yay, Linnie and DGG. How goes it, my lovely peers?
I don't think you will ever find out who you really are. What you WILL hopefully find out is that thats totally normal and ok, and you can love yourself for whatever this person-in-the-making that we all are. And only once you can love that person can you really be open to others loving you.
Wow...pretty deep for a Sunday morning
*Looks at the clock realizes it is 1:15 and I haven't gotten out of bed, still wrapped up in the sheets...and hangs head in shame*

Totally!
I went to a 'Broadway Christmas Show'. I hate those kinds of things, they nevern have ANYTHING to do with Broadway. It was ok, a bit crap at times. They sang Anything can Happen from Mary Poppins, but wih new awful lyrics, something like "CHristmas isn't christmas without Santa".
And a friend of mine was talking to me about Kucnich (sp?) today, reminded me of you and Wiz, geek.
I need to start looking for a job.
And finish this writing project.
And clean up my house.
And ... I'm sure there's something else.
Austin...my list is the exact same as yours...only add "See Sweeney" to it...and "Design a show, you procrastinating fool"

*sniff* Akiva, that was beautiful! *standing ovation*
There's nothing wrong with being wrapped up in your sheets at 1:15 on a chilly, dreary Sunday like today. I'm still in bed myself.
DGG...I'm bored out of my mind, too, but I've gotten used to a general state of boredom at this point.

A tree just walked past me.
And then my om and I cracked up, remembering last year when she and I tried to drag the tree through the house after taking the netting off.
My friend saw Sweeney last night, without me. Pfff. She hates musicals! Argh!
Enjoy boredom while you can. Because when life is chaotic...you will crave it.
Also...a TREE?

Here's a hint, Akiva: I'm not Jewish.
So it's not a Hanukka bush.
I already saw Sweeney. Amaaaaaaazing.
I would love to get into design. Do you know any good books I can pick up on the subject?
I'm sure someone was carrying the tree, since trees can't walk on their own.

In my house, you never know, Nitsua!
Speaking of walking trees, I found this:

Austin:
American Set Design (both 1 and 2) by Arnold Aronson
Mielziner: Master of Modern Stage Design by Mary Henderson
What is Scenography? by Pamela Howard
The Scenographic Imagination by Darwin Reid Payne
Those are some good starters.

There is a big black dog out in front of my apartment and he just bleeped on the sidewalk leading into the apartment building.
Thanks, Link!
I got home form work last night (well...this morning) and there was a note on my bedrom door from my roomie saying he is disapearing for a few days, and he ook the dog with him. So I have the apartment to myself for a while! woot! back to my naked ways.

My mom called me yesterday and she sounded like she was exhausted. She said she was baking cookies this whole weekend and then Christmas Eve she will be cooking a lot of the food we are going to be having on Christmas day. I may cook an apple spice pie for the occassion, but i am not going to go overboard and make waaaayyyyy too much stuff. My dad and mom always have way too much stuff for us. It is good, but there is always a ton left over. I really don't know what I am complaining about though, because I get to take home some of those left overs. :)

My mom too, Geek. She's making stuffed mushrooms for the huge Christmas Eve party tomorrow night. It's the only part of the holidays I look forward to.
