I don't know the show well enough. All parts are within my vocal range, so I really don't know. My school doesn't have a very big talent pool, but what's there is pretty outstanding.
Really, I just don't know the show well enough. I'll listen to the CD a couple more times today. My best friend thing is assistant directing, so maybe she can help.

The witch is pretty fun, but I have always had a soft spot for the Baker's Wife. Moments in the Woods is one of my favourites. I just love how she is so endearing, yet flawed at the same time. Don't be Rapunzel...she is lame, hah.

Well, I'm excited to see how this turns out.
Tink, in middle school, I tried out for the father dude in A Midsummer Night's Dream. I didn't get it, but it was fun to see everybody's faces. It's not something I wouldn't consider!

I want to play a Wolf/Prince so badly. Actually what I REALLY want to do is design this show working with a really good director.
Also...I think Burton could pull off an amazing screen version of this show someday...maybe in a couple years.

Not always, Matty. GUYS AND DOLLS, for instance, is fairly fool proof. Even bad productions still work. INTO THE WOODS is fiendishly difficult material. The score is a nightmare of tricky rhythms, and there are so many dark subtexts going on all at once that left unexplored and/or not set up properly in the first act can make the second act an interminable bore.
