FINISHED!!!

Actually, my exam was in Home Ec class, so technically we're both right.
And my grandmother used to say the same thing... until the turkey she thought was done pushed her down the stairs and finished her off.
Ugh soooo tired 2day
Hey guys!
Sorry for my absence over the past few months. Life has been crazy in both good and bad ways. I'm heading home this week for the first time in a while, which I am really looking forward to. Hah, I haven't spoken to my parents since the very end of July, so its about time (I'm not as terrible son as that makes it sound...they have been on the other side of the world in that span of time, and are flying back as we speak).
I hope all of you are gearing up for a really nice holiday season!

Finals are the devil. I'm so glad to be finished with mine.
Sam, it's good to hear that you'll be coming home soon. Make sure to let us all know when you've arrived safely.
Hi Akiva. It's always a treat to see you. I hope all is well.

It's actually been so long since I've been in here! I wonder if anyone will recognize me

We're all the same people. We're just moving at a slower pace.

True! So after TOMMY, DGG and I are planning a trip into the city to see BILLY ELLIOT, are you joining us Mauri?

The call is coming from inside the house!
PS... I'M BACK! After literally 24 hours of travel and delays, cancellations, and rerouting galore, but still.

They need to invent a new word for happy, yo. I'm so glad to be done with those courses and away from those professors, it's insane. How did everything go for you?
WELCOME BACK SCOTT!!!!
I ended up doing well, but my profs were impossible.

Mine too. If I never see a little bald man again I'll be happy. (Both of my profs this semester were little bald men.)
Welcome home, Sam!
one of mine was a loony elderly woman (think Little Edie) and the other was teaching his first class ever. So, you can imagine.

Oof. That'll make for an ... interesting semester. At least we have some time off now. I don't know about you, but I'm enjoying every minute.
Oh hell yes. I am making a conscious effort to enjoy the month to the fullest.
Grad school for me is almost like a second job in terms of the time it requires. So for this month I only have one job!

I hear that. My other job is actually school-related, so most days I have no idea what to do with myself.
WOW! I would go crazy if I had four weeks off. Or max out my credit cards.

I've been heading in that direction. Especially living in Chicago. It's taking a lot of restraint to keep myself from popping downtown and seeing a show every day.
Looking forward to xmas? I can't believe it's this week
