Agreed. My mum also bought me the Hello Kitty wall calendar for 2009, which is themed "Hello Puppy." It's Hello Kitty with a bunch of dogs. I already hung it up.

I do. It stems from a childhood obsession. I wanted a cat more than anything, but my mom was allergic. So, instead, I had a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff.

The funny thing is now I don't want one. Over the years, I turned into a dog person. I still enjoy cats. I'll play with the ones my friends have, but I have no desire to get my own. But those Hello Kitty earmuffs, I'll wear with pride.

I met my visiting aunt and uncle at union square tonight and I had no idea there was a skating rink!

I should really visit the rest of the city more often. Not that I only stay in the Castro, but I rarely get out of the Haight/Castro area.

Biff--I know, right? I was there the other week and kind of wanted to try the rink, but there were way too many people and it would have taken forever. Union Square is definitely one of my favrorite parts of the city.
