Raccoon? Wtf?!
Tink, no, unfortunately not. I've just had a crazy week and I'm back now, having been offline for about 7 days, that's all. Nothing spectacular.

I hope everything went OK. Missed you! Anything fun happen?
Raccoon, yes. It was trying to eat my chickens, and I chased it away, and then I was running up the stairs outside, which were covered in frost. Instead of my foor staying on the slippery step, it just slid right through to the other side and I whacked my leg pretty good.
Damn. I thought you meant you had permanent internet access again!
you got my hopes up dear linnie!

*Hugs for everyone*
On Monday at about 13:15 I got a call to see if I could do a job this fortnight, I went to a rehearsal at 2 (within an hour) and hey presto, I've got my first paying acting job! Turandot, an easy 200 quid in the pocket!
Oh, and I came out.

YAY! I'm SO happy for you! That's great!
Are you OK?
ps: I love Turandot.
OMG!!!! Linnie! What a week!

It's been insane, I know.
I'm fine, DGG. I tried to say it about 5 times, it took me until last night to get the words out. And at first i was very worried because there was very little said afterwards last night, and nothing on that topic, but in the car today on the way home from a rehearsal my mom just randomly said it was fine, and not to worry.
And I also mentioned our planned get-together, but I hadn't seen your mom's suggestions yet. I think my mom would be ok with it if we have time, but she still thinks you're all going to turn out to be random thugs who'll beat us up and send our bloodied corpses to the bottom off the side of the Brooklyn Bridge.

I DO plan on beating you up! Why do you think I'm trying to hard to get you to be able to come?
I'll be in NY the 8th, as will some other posters. I hope (THIS MUCH) that you can get together with us!
Linnie, I am so proud of you! Congratulations.
*hugs to Tink!*

I still hate you for making me do it face-to-face, Deet!
I hate it when you're right.
DGG, I think I'll be in Woodbury Common that day. I'll arrive after midday some time on the 7th, and I leave on the 11th, but I don't know when.
Check your PMs, Linnie.

Woodbury Common? Remember, I know nothing about NY. That means nothing to me.
And I didn't make you do anything. I merely suggested, that's all.

Is the 8th the Saturday, DGG? Late (very late) brunch or lunch works for me.
Half full, or half empty, Rath?

It's outside the city centre, a big shopping place. I need new Calvin Klein & Tommy Hilfigger stuff, but really I'm not all that interested in the place. I think your other Cyber father lives or goes to school near there, I'll have to email him.
I do hear that my aunt bought tickets to the 'Behind the Emerald Curtain' tour for that morning, so if you were on that...?

It's 200 Euro, Rath. $300...
*Ducks and Rolls*
Woodbury Common is WAY outside the "city centre," Linnie - like a 90 minute to 2 hour drive upstate.
And Rath, at the current rate of exchange, $200 quid is more like $400.
Linnie is coming to NYC soon? How did I miss that? Damn new job!

Yes, Rath, it is. Whatever works. My mom and I are just going to come up and hang out.
Linnie, I'll see about that. Should work; I'll talk to mom.
As empty as my bank account right before Christmas, D2.
