This season has been outstanding thus far.
Christine Baranski was brilliant this evening, especially in the last 5 minutes, when she barely said a word. Just outstanding.
The entire ensemble is wonderful.

Back to Kalinda's husband. Someone said something about him being "killed off" as quick as possible. If I remember last season correctly, I felt it wasn't fast enough. Two minutes into the episode and his character I wanted him gone. They took too long to get rid of him in my opinion. I love this show with everything within me. I love it more than any man/woman/thing I have ever loved before. I watch it like it is my religion, my phone don't ring during The Good Wife. (Not that my phone rings most of the time, but that's another story) I've only ever missed 3 episodes out of all 5 seasons so far, and I don't plan on missing any more within the near future. As a dedicated stan the show almost lost me last season between the whole Peter and Alicia getting back together again and Kalinda's abusive/psycho/slimy husband.
Side note: Can we talk about the sexual nature of episode 4?
Cary masturbating? I hit the floor!
Diane prostituting out her subordinates?

Amazing episode this week, but I feel like next week is going to be an Emmy-submission episode. And of course I have to work that night and won't see it til the next day!

All I want to add is how stunning Christine Baranski looked in every scene she was in.

I guess I'm in the minority in not being wowed by this season. It just seems so desperate. I just can't get enthused or engaged by the episodes at all.

Half way through it and WOW. I am getting stressed just watching it and my jaw just dropped with Kalinda. Don't want to say more than that but WOW.

Holy hell. Halfway through and wow. Explosive doesn't even begin to describe it.
Just wow.
This may be the year Josh Charles gets an Emmy.
ETA: Just finished the episode.
That. Was. Brilliant.

Wow. I'm a bit lost for words- that was the best episode of the series. So much emotion and power and absolute brilliance. And thank heavens for the moments of humor (my favorite was either the courtroom scene or Will passing Grace's message to Alicia).
adamgreer, I certainly hope Josh Charles gets the Emmy this year. He was outstanding among a uniformly amazing cast in this episode.

I'm so curious to know what the structure of the show is going to be going forward. It seems as though they're writing out Josh Charles & Christine Baranski but obviously that's not the case.

Im guessing they will be competing for clients, then against each other in court, then at some point Alicia and WIll will do the dirty deed again!

It gets better and better every week.
This week...Christine Baranski knocks it out of the park. The scene where she found out she wasn't getting the judgeship was heartbreaking. Emmy, Emmy, Emmy...

I couldn't agree more. This season has really taken the show to levels of greatness not seen since its first season or two. And every single actor just keeps improving, just when I think they can't get any better. Can't imagine Margulies, Baranski, and Charles not getting Emmy noms this year.

I enjoy the show and will continue to watch it fairly religiously as I think the acting is pretty terrific across the board but, I have to admit, I think the story lines are just ridiculous at this point. It’s always been the case, but the implausibility factor has gone to a whole new level for me. But I’ll keep tuning in.

Tonights episode was interesting.
Looks like Nathan Lane will be on more for the rest of the season. Loved the back and forth with the adoption lawsuit. Didn't see the last part of that coming.
Also creepy about the computers in the house.

Seriously creepy. And shouldn't Zach have reported his classmate for trafficking in child porn? Grace is underage and he was selling access to the videos.
Loved seeing Nathan Lane back, and Dallas Roberts too! Owen has always been one of my favorite background characters, and it was interesting that the first crack in Will's angry facade came when he was talking to Owen.

Zach probably should have reported the guy, but I think he didn't just to spare his sister the embarrasment of it. He reports it and the vidoes/photos are bound to leak and that would cause scandal in her school, househould, new law firm, and Govenor's office.
I doubt it's the last we'll hear of it, though.

The webcam definitely seems like it isn't over yet. Wouldn't that guy be guilty of trafficking in child pornography (I forget how old Grace is, but she's still a minor, right?).
It will be really fun if and when Peter finds out about it.

Oh without a doubt what he's doing is wrong and illegal and immoral in multiple ways. By all means he should be reported, arrested, tried, and convicted. She is underage and if he's doing it to her, no doubt he's doing it to other girls.
I just can see why Zach would want to handle it the way he did and save his sister any more embarrassment. "Better" to beat him up than call the cops and see those pictures all over school.
Between this and the NSA plot, they are definitely coming back to this in a big way.
