Because they do not believe in peace and have not for thousands upon thousands of years; they only believe in violence and destruction, as it is decreed in their own values and beliefs.

With the exception of converts and western traitors, these terrorists were raised to believe islam should be the only recognized religion and all others are "infidels." If you do not believe me, feel free to look up any guiding doctrine or charter of Hamas, ISIS, Hezbollah, Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda, and the like.

Yes, even though the farmer didn't like the rancher they learned to co-exist. The farmer was not, however, raised (and brainwashed) to believe the rancher was an "infidel" and that all ranchers, like him, must be obliterated from the face of the earth.

The point of prayer--for me, anyway--is not to worry about doctrine and charters and whether the political realities of a given situation permit for the prayer to be answered.

Presumably the Omnipotent Being to whom we are praying will deal with all that. S/he has, no doubt, staff who can iron out all of your concerns.

If we are praying to bring Peace to the world, I stand by my fervent belief and hope that it is to those who have, historically, resisted Peace that it should be delivered first. And in heaping measure.

If those who make war were to live in Peace, then we would have Peace.

If all they know is war and violence, and refuse the idea of peace and prayer, there is no hope. When you are completely committed and prepared to sacrifice your life for a religious or violent cause, you have crossed the threshold of no return. In my opinion.

madbrian - I do not believe in religious oppression of any kind. I believe in acceptance of all religions and spiritual beliefs. Islamic jihad is not a religion and it's not a belief; it's a disease that propagates the idea of war, destruction, violence, and ethnic extermination.
