So, it is about time for everyone who does this sort of thing to start getting offers for their summer theatre work!
I have been offered a position with a company that is doing Annie. I thought I might have a chance at the chorus but it turns out I will just be a kid-wrangler! Oh well, at least it is in the "theatah".
Who else is getting offers?

I got a great offer for work this summer (and beyond!). I'm signing the contract today!
Plus, I'm going to be singing in a world premiere production from the team which created SPAMALOT at Caramoor in July! A theatrical-concert performance!
It's going to be a wonderful summer!

So I guess that would be a "NO" from Rath.
Anyone else have any summer theatre work lined up yet?

Posted: 4/26/07 at 3:22pmWhat about you, Sueleen? What do you plan to do this summer, besides obsessing over me? You must have SOME free time left over.

Rath, did you read the original post? If you have nothing to add why do you keep coming back to this thread?
And no, once again, it is not all about you.
You really should have that looked at by a professional.

There is a drama area at camp that kids go to once a week where they get to do skits, and as counselors we put on skits for the kids during campfires and all-camp games. Does that count?

i'll hopefully be working at hot topic and seeing shows at "the space" for free because they pay for you to go to concerts if you work at hot topic.

Well, I really wanted to go to a local Musical Theatre camp but the final week of camp, right before the show, I have to go to San Jose for a mennonite retreat that I don't really want to go to anyway. So instead I have attend a lessr musical theatre program that's doing Guys and Dolls.
My past two summers have been fantastic, I don't know how this one is going to live up to them.
Except I'm seeing Patti LuPone in Gypsy, which might just make everything worth it...
