The Fox sitcom "Do Not Disturb" is the first fatality of thr fall season - cancelled after just three episodes.
It starred Jerry O'Connell and Niecey Nash (Reno 911), and dealt with the lives of a group of hotel employees. At least this time around, JTF did not have to try and pass for straight, as he did on "The Class".

I watched the first episode. It was totally stupid and not funny, Jesse was the only good part about it. I hope his luck picks up.
I love JTF. He cracked me up - even on that show. The last episode he did a little breakdancing joke that totally made me laugh out loud. Horrible show overall. Would love to see him back on Broadway soon.
Horrible show. But, JTF was great.
The Class getting canceled was a real tragedy, it was really great TV comedy, with a very talented cast.
I <3'd the Class.
Poor Jerry. He always works, but so many of his gigs are flops.
I saw Audrina from The Hills was going to be on it- NOT a good sign!
I wonder if multi-camera sitcoms can succeed anymore. I believe TWO AND A HALF MEN, TIL DEATH, and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER are the only ones left that have any kind of popularity, and I'm not really sure many people see those shows. I think part of it is the writing, all those new "funny" shows TRY so hard to be funny that it is just pitiful.

Well, Ray, TWO AND A HALF MEN tied for tenth place last week, so someone is watching.
Of course, the EMMYS came in fifth, so it probably means nothing.

They can't. Reality shows and Seinfeld killed the traditional sitcom.
