Jim Carrey as Biden on SNL

Doesn't work for me. Maybe he'll improve with time?
Carrey stumbles too much with the cue cards. His comedic timing isn't the best (yet?), but he's got a hard act to follow after Baldwin's Trump, possibly making any bumble sick out like a sore thumb.
My biggest issue (the one that turns me off the most) is Carrey's choice to portray Biden by miming the rapid-fire shooting of a gun, blowing on the barrel, then holstering the gun. He's done that a couple of times, now. I just can't find any tiny element of truth in that random reach at humor that could make me laugh.

It hasn't been working for me either. But I thought he was good this week. The "Loser" moment made it worth it.

I think he's doing well. He's got his mannerisms down and that smirk, too. He just goes over a bit with the typical Jim Carrey overacting.

He's been brilliant, his mannerisms, his speech, everything. But, Jim Carrey has always been a chameleon.
