In anticipation of his 100th Birthday on October 1st, a celebration is being held for him tonight.  James Earl Carter, Jr., our oldest living President.  A lifetime of service to others.  Courageous military veteran.  A true American hero.

Happy soon-to-be birthday, Mr. President!  You are respected and loved by a grateful Nation.

In an earlier thread, I honored Mr. Carter as “the least evil” POTUS. I stand by that.

Happy Birthd-… wait, Betty White died two weeks before her centenary. I don’t want to jinx it, so I’ll wait until Oct 1.

RIP President Carter. I thought of this board when I saw the articles/clip of President Obama and Trump chatting like they were at "happy hour" with grins on their faces before the funeral started.

President Carter is being honored with a "Forever" postage stamp featuring his portrait.  Excellent news.  Still missed.
